My heart for women’s health began during my very first OB/GYN appointment as a teenager, when I had to navigate a complicated diagnosis and a series of confusing and often scary interactions with specialists. Years later, after facing complications during the birth of my son, my passion for informed care and patient advocacy only grew stronger. That experience not only taught me the importance of understanding my health and my options, but it also deepened my trust in the Lord. Through it all, my faith grew as I leaned into His strength during a season full of unknowns. Since then, I’ve become deeply committed to helping women feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their reproductive journeys. My journey led me to work on a research team developing an intrauterine balloon stent to help treat Asherman’s Syndrome—a role that involved shadowing OB/GYNs and midwives and sparked a deeper appreciation for the science behind pregnancy and birth.
