About me

Hello everyone, my name is Cheryl Conley aka CC! I am a Newborn Care Specialist (Night Nanny) and Certified Postpartum Doula in the DC, MD, VA area. I am a Postpartum Doula on the Carrot Registry. Please look me up if you receive this benefit through your insurance!! Thanks! I have 2 daughters but miscarried 1 other, so I have empathy for you and your struggles and needs. I deeply desire to care for your baby(ies), to help you and your mate, heal and rest, that you may gain strength and clarity of mind again! I can help the whole family nurture the new baby and deal with the new responsibilities. Parents may need more emotional care, as well, during this transition time. I am punctual, rarely ill, very alert and assisting your baby(ies) with feedings, diapers, temperature control, sleep conditioning - then sleep training, folding clothes and clothing changes as needed. As your Postpartum Doula, I will research and implement strategies, assist with shopping, laundry, dishes, etc. I will help you care for yourself and/or baby as well as let the mate and the siblings find their importance in the enlarged family! I use a daily journal, like Baby Connect, to journal food intake, bowel movements, growth, mood, and activities of baby and mom! I generally work overnights, but am willing to work days when possible. In my personal time, I like to read and proofread, go bowling, walking, swimming, and participate in Christian activities.
