Home birth wanted. I thought I was going to have to have a cesarean section but I was told by my Dr I can have a vaginal delivery. I want to do it at home .

Looking for a night nanny 3-4 times per week who can also help with sleep training for the baby.

I would prefer to have a home birth but not against an hospital birth but it is an hour from us. We have Cigna insurance cover the cost as they will cover 100% for midwives.

Plan to give birth at the hospital and I want to have a traditional birth, with no epidural and delayed cord clamping. I have insurance through Kaiser. I would be able to give birth at Holy Cross in Germantown or Silver Spring.

This is my first pregnancy and both my partner and I will be first time parents. I’m looking for help understanding my body as baby and I continue to grow. I live far from my mother and sisters so it’s a very emotional time without that support. I would love to learn new things for baby safety, feeding, sleep as well as what’s good for me as I’m nourishing myself and baby. I plan to give birth in the hospital with very minimal interventions, but I’m currently unsure what a back up plan would look like and I could use some support with creating that backup plan. Our first birth plan is to be very intimate and peaceful but my partner can also use some understanding and learning points for how to support, and where, at the time of birth. Once baby arrives, my partner won’t have the opportunity to be home with us long, and I’m planning to be home for 2 months postpartum. We would absolutely love the night support and the continuous learning. We have family support but we really want the first week to be only us and baby, as well as have strong boundaries with family about baby with hygiene and safety so this is where the help would come in. I feel like there is more to discuss to better understand match, but I am still very new!

Hospital Would like no Hep B infant vaccine, would like the cord to stop pulsating and turn white prior to being cut.

This is my fourth baby and I’ve no previous complications with this pregnancy or prior ones. We are looking into the idea of delivering at home. After delivering I like to just spend time with baby and dad and count down the minutes til we can go home so as long as the baby is healthy we just want the first few days out of the hospital and with our family.
