I would like to give birth in a birth centre. I do not have OHIP, so we will be paying out of pocket. We do not have an estimated budget yet. My birth plan is as natural as possible with my husband and mother there.

I would like to give birth at my home, if possible a water birth. We just moved out to Lancaster, pa. I have had multiple miscarriages before my two full term pregnancies but then I had a recent miscarriage about 2 years ago. I am 10 weeks and about 3 days so far and just 2 weeks ago I purchased myself prenatal gummies because I can’t do the pills, my last two pregnancies I had to take almost 6 pills different sizes. My WellSpan doctors had me doing 3 different first patient appointments before any ultrasounds or any type of prenatal support I’m no sure why but I chose to look for help elsewhere. I have health partners medicade insurance. I’m looking for somebody to help me through this experience without the hospitals and drugs they provide because I know and have seen successful home births with healthy happy families and would love to experience the same if possible .

I would like a homebirth but am open to a birthing center. We are committed to having a natural, physiological birth.

We really, really want a home birth. We have 3 other children, and they were all born at home in another state. We are willing to pay $4,000-$5,000 for a knowledgable midwife who will do a home birth. My birth plan would be just to have a home birth, and 1 or 2 midwives present, along with my husband!

I would like more info on having a home birth. Our budget is tight, and I’m not sure what “rates” are for home birth deliveries. I’ve always been on the fence about home births, but our current insurance (husband’s) is extremely expensive for what we can afford. Also, I am considered high risk due to my weight, but so far no concerns with the baby otherwise. This is my second pregnancy, and in the last week (around 38-39 weeks) I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension. Otherwise I had a healthy first pregnancy, and so far this pregnancy is healthy as well.

We plan to give birth at Chester County Hospital in West Chester Pa. We don’t have a limit for our budget. We would like to have a birth as natural as possible. I would like to labor at home for as long as I can, use my bath/ shower, and get through as many contractions until I feel I need to go to the hospital. I don’t want the epidural. I don’t want to be stuck in the hospital bed, hooked up to a bunch of monitors and IVs. I want my Fiancé to help deliver the baby/ be as hands on as possible. Delayed cord clamping. We are taking the placenta. Refusal of vitamin K, hep b. If needed, we will do the eye drops. We also want immediate skin to skin with baby.

I’m looking into hone birth possibilities, prior experience with preeclampsia. Hoping to find something that can be covered by insurance. 39 years old, 3rd baby. I don’t really have a birth plan. I used in epidural in prior 2 births in the hospital, but was taken off with my 2nd to help push.
