I am still looking at my options, but for right now the plan is to deliver at Roper Berkeley Hospital in Summerville, SC. I am having trouble with the bedside manner of doctors and am looking for someone who is compassionate. If it works out that I am not comfortable giving birth in a hospital, I'd like to do a water birth depending on what my insurance coverage is. I think my birth plan is fairly simple where I don't want the umbilical cord to be cut until it is done pulsing/ or white. And in a hospital setting I don't want the eye ointment for my child as it is not necessary. My insurance is Tricare Select.
Seeking a birth doula to support me through my second birth - my first was an induction due to severe eclampsia that ended in an emergency c section. I suffer anxiety and have birth trauma as a result. This time around I am working toward a VBAC. Delivering at MUSC.

I want to give birth in summerville medical hospital labor facility. I need to find a midwife and preferably a doula. I’m thinking to use insurance and spend $1500. The care taker could be anywhere from 28-38 years old. I speak english, but also urdu/hindi. I want the emotional support prior, during and after birth. And know the beginning basics.

Doula support during pregnancy, help with managing pain from fibroids and ovary cyst
This is my first baby, and my due date is February 28, 2027. I’m planning a hospital birth in the Charleston, SC (summerville) area. My husband is active-duty military, and my insurance is TRICARE East. I’m looking for a supportive doula who accepts TRICARE or has experience working with military families and TRICARE coverage. I’d love support preparing for labor, comfort and coping techniques during labor, advocacy, and guidance for my husband on how he can support me. I’m still developing my birth plan and would like someone who is patient, informative, and supportive of my preferences. I’m also planning to breastfeed and would appreciate early breastfeeding support. I’m looking primarily for in-person support and would love to know about your availability, services, pricing, and what is included in your birth package.
I need someone who believes in Jesus Christ & leads me in faith & covers me in prayer, instead of filling my head up with a bunch of fears. I need someone who is well educated in child birth. I need someone who is kind & loves my unborn child. I need someone who is willing to come to my home because I want to give birth at home. My birth plan is to hopefully give birth to a healthy child with very minimal tearing. Only thing I want to do is cut the chord (delayed). No vaccines, no bath, no vitamin K. I will be breast feeding so education in lactation would be very helpful as well.
I have a twin pregnancy! Looking for support in trying to have a vaginal delivery! I will be delivering at MUSC. This is my second pregnancy.

Even though this is my 3rd pregnancy, I want to experience a non medicated birth. Someone to help me practice my breathing and relaxing my mind during the labor pains. If possible, I’d like to experience a water birth at home. Also, keeping my placenta as well.
I plan to give birth in a hospital. My estimated budget is $1500 but it could possibly change. I plan to have an unmedicated birth. I would like to be as active in my labor as possibly trying various positions. I want my husband to be able to support me through birth. I haven’t come up with a full birth plan yet. I’m looking for a doula that takes Tricare insurance.
