This is my first baby, and my due date is February 28, 2027. I’m planning a hospital birth in the Charleston, SC (summerville) area. My husband is active-duty military, and my insurance is TRICARE East. I’m looking for a supportive doula who accepts TRICARE or has experience working with military families and TRICARE coverage. I’d love support preparing for labor, comfort and coping techniques during labor, advocacy, and guidance for my husband on how he can support me. I’m still developing my birth plan and would like someone who is patient, informative, and supportive of my preferences. I’m also planning to breastfeed and would appreciate early breastfeeding support. I’m looking primarily for in-person support and would love to know about your availability, services, pricing, and what is included in your birth package.
