Need help getting baby to latch without hurting my nipples
I did not breastfeed my son due to pain and poor latch so I ended up pumping for about 10 months before I got pregnant with my daughter. I want to do my best to breastfeed and bottle feed this time around so I want to be as prepared as possible and seek advise from a lactation consultant.
I will be delivering at Baylor Scott and White Grapevine. I'm unsure of budget and am trying to figure out what my insurance may or may not cover. This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. I want to remain open minded to the possiblity that things may not go the way I want them to. I am with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and have the Blue Choice PPO if relevant.
I am pregnant with twins and will likely deliver by the end of July. Ideally, I will exclusively breastfeed the babies, but I suspect I will need professional assistance in order to set myself up for success. I am looking for a lactation consultant that offers in home appointments.
I have a Clogged milk ducts in m left breast. I have been treating it for past 2 days but still don't see it coming out. Pumping too much has made my nipples puffy and red blood like pores. Need help!

Baby is already here. She is 6 weeks and we are looking for a good lactation consultant. We also need a good massage therapist for my wife.
I have an exclusive Breast-fed baby she is almost 3 months and I can not get her to take a bottle for a full feed or a Passy. Stories it’s hard to burp her so she is gassy and also if she isn’t full enough or is gassy she can’t sleep 3 hrs. I want to pump and slow down on nursing her so I can get back into working more. I also have Medicaid.
1. Issues with baby not opening mouth wide enough 2. Shallow latch 3. Possible lip/tongue tie We want our provider to be certified, in the Dallas area, and able to meet in person either at an office or at our home
Will be giving birth at medical city alliance. Not sure about estimated budget not familiar with pricing but something reasonable. For my birth plan I have stated I want epidural, delayed cord clamping, want immediate skin to skin, no eye goop, going to be encapsulating my placenta, no vaccines expect vitamin k (preservative free), peaceful environment with music & low lighting, just me & my husband in delivery room, no students, getting hospital lactation consultant as soon as possible to come see us in room, will be breast feeding If able to, don’t want to rush the delivery processes unless absolutely necessary. Amount a few other things: I have c section plan as well pretty much the same expect not wanting to see anything and want immediate skin to skin if possible and a few other things as well!
I plan to birth at a birthing center in Arlington with my midwife. I don’t have a budget at this time. I plan to birth naturally, with minimal intervention. I would like my providers certified with. Minimum of 5 years experience.
I keep getting mastitis, so I believe I’m doing something wrong and need help!
