As your doula it’s my goal to make sure you have the skills, education and support to make informed decisions on how to birth YOUR way. Certified as a DONA birth/postpartum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, as well as a certified advanced trained doula & educator in VBaC births, my role is to educate, support and empower every individual and their support partner through their pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I incorporate SpinningBabies methods into my work and provide encouraging, judgment-free and continuous birth support that is unique to each client’s hopes and wants towards a healthy & satisfying birth experience. Some of my professional highlights including being voted a Top Provider in GRKids Best Of GR and serving as director for The Maternal Wellness Program. On the personal side, I am a mom to three amazing children – Malone, Beau & Jocelyn (twins!), and wife to a sweet “Kentucky Boy”. My introduction to motherhood was challenging. I struggled with infertility, postpartum depression/anxiety and a difficult first birth. All these moments in my life set me on my path and passion for birth & postpartum support, and maternal mental health.

My goal is to provide calm, steady support so that you feel informed, grounded, and cared for throughout pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum period. As a mother of nine children with a range of birth experiences, I have a deep respect for the intensity and vulnerability of birth and the importance of continuous support. Birth is demanding, meaningful work, and compassionate support can make a profound difference in how families experience it. My role is to provide a steady, attentive presence so you can focus on the work of labor and welcoming your baby as you move through labor one step at a time. It would be an honor to walk alongside you during such an important moment in your family’s story.

My name is Jasmine Davis, but you can call me Jazzie! I am a Doula, Holistic Health Practitioner, and Massage Therapist. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology and a concentration in Addiction Studies. I have a passion for birth work, helping others, working with underserved populations, and making sure people feel seen, heard, and supported. I have been a doula for three years and have supported many birthing parents with different experiences, values, and goals. I specialize in high-risk pregnancies, substance use support, trauma-informed care, natural birth, and holistic approaches to wellness. I take pride in supporting families through their journeys with intentional, compassionate care. As your doula, I strive to make sure your voice is heard, you are informed, and you feel confident and supported in your decisions while being comforted throughout labor and birth. I’m also a boy mom, so I’m learning to love sports! In my free time, I enjoy refurbishing furniture, painting, and tackling DIY projects. I have a soft spot for poetry, books, and science. I love being creative, trying new things, and taking on a good challenge!

I do not make healthcare decisions for you or speak on your behalf, but encourage you and your partner to voice your birth preferences and offer informational guidance to help you make well-informed decisions. My goal is for you to have an empowered and satisfying birth, no matter what kind of birth that is! I am a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International, and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS).
