I plan to give birth at a hospital in Greenville Nc. I would like more information on pricing before I throw out a budget. I would like to go over birthing plans with someone to better educate if possible cause I do have something’s in mind, just not to sure what to ask for.
I'm looking for a postpartum doula who prioritizes mom's physical and mental health in order for her and her child(ren) to thrive. I would also like assistance with overcoming obstacles that prevent me from completing tasks such as housework and demands of caring for a newborn and toddlers through means of physical/occupational therapy.
First pregnancy at 33 years old. I wanted to give birth at home but my family is against it so I will be birthing in hospital but want to be as natural and have as few interventions as possible. I live in Blounts Creek, NC but will be birthing in Greenville, NC. I am pregnant with healthy, baby boy who is measuring 2 weeks ahead already. No abnormalities have been identified. I am looking for experienced doula to help me prepare for labor and postpartum period and advocate for me during both. I plan to breastfeed. I am unsure of budget because I don't know how doulas bill but I also have private insurance, soon (pregnancy) medicaid and ability to pay out of pocket as well.

I am 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby girl and plan to deliver in the hospital. I am looking for a supportive, experienced doula who is comfortable working with a medically complex pregnancy. I have POTS, vasovagal syncope, iron deficiency anemia, and have experienced frequent dizziness, near-fainting episodes, tachycardia, and palpitations during pregnancy. I have been evaluated by cardiology and have a normal echocardiogram and no significant heart condition, but I still experience symptoms and anxiety related to labor and delivery. My goal is to remain flexible with my birth plan and do what is safest for both me and my baby. I would like to attempt a vaginal delivery if possible, but I am open to a C-section if medically necessary or if labor becomes difficult to tolerate. I am nervous about procedures such as IV placement, epidurals, and surgery and would appreciate emotional support, advocacy, comfort measures, and guidance throughout labor and delivery. I am looking for a calm, reassuring doula who has experience supporting clients with anxiety, POTS, vasovagal syncope, or other medical concerns. My due date is August 4, 2026. I am open to discussing pricing options and packages. I have Tricare.
