I need a lactation consultant to evaluate my baby’s oral function. He still has a shallow latch despite a frenectomy for his tongue and lip tie. We have been evaluated by lactation peer counselors and doulas who have helped with suck training and positioning. Breastfeeding is still painful for me despite all these efforts. I would like to meet with a certified lactation consultant in person for help with this.

I had a recent dip in supply. I was overly supplying and now I only get about 3oz total each pump.

I tried to breastfeed my last child but she absolutely wouldn’t latch. I think I have flat nipples so she wouldn’t latch without a nipple shield that was too painful to use. I tried to pump but never had any milk output, I don’t even think I had colostrum. I don’t know if I was just doing it wrong or if I just didn’t have any milk. Because I don’t know what I was doing wrong, I don’t know how to do it right this time round. I think I need a prenatal appnt to figure out how to size everything right, methods, nipple healing when it hurts too much, tools and products to use. I don’t even know how much milk I should be able to get out in the first weeks or how to store and make use of pumped milk because I never got the chance to learn it. I’d like someone experienced and gentle. I don’t do well with blunt, tough love, especially postpartum. Lower budget would be nice but I don’t have much idea of what a consultant costs

Second baby due in September. With my first born (dec 2024) I could only successfully latch him for a few days, after returning from the hospital we used the nipple shield to help him latch and used it for a month before completely switching to exclusively pumping. Continued to pump for 10 months before milk slowly dried out. I want to be prepared this time on how to get baby to latch especially if I want to combo feed breastmilk through pumping and through breastfeeding.

Looking for a birth doula that has experience with VBA2C births. Planning to give birth at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Someone who can advocate for me during labor to allow me to move freely and help me stick to my birth plan.

We’re moving midway through the pregnancy to the DC region, Maryland side. We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I also struggled with low supply with my first child so I’m hoping to find a lactation consultant who specialises in that. We have Tricare, which covers both doulas and IBCLCs.

I would like someone with at least 5 years' experience. I'm a 46-year-old first-time mom. My insurance provider is Carefirst BCBS. Doulas are a covered benefit. I have a BluePreferred PPO plan. We live in Hanover, plan to birth in Carlisle. Looking for a home birth experience in a hospital setting. Unmedicated if possible, with minimal intervention. History of infertility and loss. Strong personality and need someone who can work with that. Looking for prenatal, birth and postpartum support. Experience with breastfeeding, baby wearing and cloth diapers is a plus. Definitely want someone with experience in movement techniques to optimize baby's positioning. My insurance covers 1200 per year and we can go a bit above that. Bonus points if we can split billing or do a visit in the new year to use both years benefits. Insurance requires a tax ID number and an invoice.

I am 26 years old and this is my first child so I would like someone to just give me advice and basically be there for me through this journey. I would like to give birth at a birthing center close to a hospital if I need to go to it, but I am not opposed to going to the hospital I just don't want to have the baby on my back. My budget is under $2,000 preferably. I also would like to try and breast feed to know what drinks or food I can intake now to help with that. I am also a picky eater so helping me come up with a balanced diet would also be a great help as well. I just would like to prep on what I should be doing each month and things I need to order so that I can already have it before the baby comes.
