Tressie Casey

Springfield, Missouri

5.0 (1 review)

Tressie Casey

4 years of experience

My name is Tressie Casey, I’m a proud wife and homeschooling mother of three beautiful children, and of course a birth nerd. As a dedicated doula I’m committed to supporting families through the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My mission is to create a safe, empowering, and nurturing space where parents feel informed, respected, and confident in their choices. As a doula, I offer personalized care tailored to meet your unique needs and preferences. I bring not only professional training but also deep compassion and a listening ear, ensuring you feel truly seen and heard every step of the way. Whether through birth preparation, hands-on labor support, or gentle postpartum care, I strive to empower you and your family through this life-changing experience. My passion for this work stems from my own experiences. My first two babies entered the world in quite traumatic experiences, following severe postpartum depression and lactation issues. I remember thinking to myself “I don’t want anyone else going through this alone”. I quickly became the lady that friends and family called when they needed help or had questions. I had no idea what a doula was until someone sent me a thank you card one time that said “Thank you for being my doula”. This word really got me. I had no clue what that was. I decided to look it up and to my surprise I found it originated from Greece and means “to serve or mother the mother”. I instantly fell in love with that and realized that it was my calling. I hardly ever hold babies because they are in the safest place in the world, their mother’s arms. I always hold the mother though because just like her baby, she was just born too.

Susan Preston

Hi! My name is Susan Preston. I am a Jesus lover, wife, mom of five, Gammy to one, and business owner. I live in Prairie Grove and serve families across Northwest Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma. Caring for families in general is a joy, Postpartum care and birth planning are my passion. Being a doula is a calling I am extremely proud and blessed to embrace. Whether that be walking with you hand in hand through birth, after birth, educating, goal setting, or referring. My heart is to see families flourish and thrive. No matter if this is your first baby or your fifth I would love to be part of your village! I have served with The CALL (supporting and encouraging foster/adopt families), the Independent Living Program through DCFS (helping teens that have aged out of foster care navigate adult life), Loving Choices crisis pregnancy center (as Site Director), and so much more. When I'm not loving on families I enjoy glamping, hiking, the lake, travel, cooking, and getting lost in a good book.

Susan is very down to earth, friendly, and thoughtful. She helped us think and plan through our first pregnancy, as we had no idea where to start. It was truly a blessing having an expert in your corner to help navigate all the expected and unexpected things that come with pregnancy and new parenthood. Now that our baby is here, Susan still regular checks up on us to make sure our family is doing well and thriving.

Bethany Justice

Lebanon, Missouri

Bethany Justice

2 years of experience

My background as an RN in both critical care and medical oncology largely involved walking alongside patients facing the end of life. These experiences sparked a deep passion in me to see that individuals are given a chance at the healthiest possible life - from the very start! This led me to complete Birth and Postpartum Doula Training through DONA International, as well as Lamaze Childbirth Educator training, so I could better support families from pre-conception all the way through the “fourth trimester” of postpartum. I believe these professional experiences, along with my personal journey as a mother of three—with births in both hospital and freestanding birth center settings—have uniquely equipped me to support families during the most vulnerable and powerful moments of becoming a parent. It's my honor to be a part of your unfolding birth journey! A Missouri native, my husband and I lived in several Midwestern cities before putting down roots on the family farm where he was raised. I am enamored by the earthiness of birth, whether it's a human's or a heifer's. I love slow mornings with my people, making nourishing foods and home goods with my hands, and reading about the juncture of bodies and souls under a giant quilt.

Annie Hill

Birth has been my life's work for more than 40 years. I'm Annie Hill, a Certified Community-Based Doula, retired home birth midwife, doula educator, and an enrolled Arkansas Medicaid doula provider now accepting Medicaid clients in Cabot and Central Arkansas. Whether you're planning your first baby, hoping for a VBAC, navigating a high-risk pregnancy, or simply looking for an experienced guide, I'm here to help you understand your options, communicate confidently with your healthcare team, and feel supported every step of the way. I believe every family deserves evidence-based information, compassionate support, and the freedom to make informed decisions that are right for them. My job isn't to make decisions for you. It's to make sure you have the knowledge, support, and confidence to make them for yourself. If you're looking for an experienced doula who will respect your voice, support your goals, and walk beside you through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum, I'd be honored to meet you.

In 2019 I started my "trying" journey. I had two children previously but due to a contraceptive implant issue I was struggling to get pregnant for a third time. Annie guided me on how to advocate for myself which helped me be officially diagnosed with PCOS and a difficulty ovulating by December 2020. Early 2021 I was able to get medicinal intervention and get pregnant with my sweet littlest. I relied heavily on Annie's advice about diet, exercise, remembering to listen to my body, and advocating for myself. I suffered the third trimester with chronic nosebleeds, turns out was an open lesion in my left sinus. I would have just given in and let it go if not for the gentle and kindly advice. Annie lives 6 hours away from me, and if it weren't for little Eevee being born in less than that, she would have been here for her birth. But I had her in my heart, mind, and ear helping me advocate for the best delivery I could have. Since then, I have continued to keep a close friendship with Annie, and can easily say that if you want the very best care and to feel like you not only matter but are family, Annie Hill is the very best of the best.

I chose Nicole late in my pregnancy after hoping for an unmedicated birth. From our first call, I felt heard and supported. Throughout my third trimester, she provided research-backed information, reassurance, and confidence, especially when I went overdue. During my six-hour labor, she supported both me and my husband every step of the way. I delivered an 11 lb 10 oz baby vaginally and completely unmedicated. After a discouraging first birth experience, Nicole helped me leave my second delivery feeling empowered, capable, and incredibly proud.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Beth and the support she gave me throughout my pregnancy and birth experience! Having her as my doula brought so much peace, encouragement, and confidence during such a special time in my life. She truly rocked! During labor, Beth was absolutely amazing — calm, caring, encouraging, and so attentive to every need I had. She helped me feel safe, empowered, and supported through every stage of labor, and her presence made such a huge difference in my experience. I am so grateful for the love and care she showed our family, and I genuinely cannot imagine my birth experience without her. If you are considering hiring a doula, I wholeheartedly recommend Beth!

I chose Ruqayyah to be my doula after finding out I was pregnant with my third child. She came in bringing gifts, was very attentive to our needs (even my first two children), showed up to doctors appointments, & she was also my therapist at times! She never overstepped any boundaries or made us feel uncomfortable, she was supportive of my decisions. Every time I reached out to her (no matter the time!) about anything, she was on standby during my pregnancy & after the birth. She’s very knowledgeable & she’s passionate about anything she sets her mind to do. If, I had the chance I would choose her to be my doula again!
