Looking for a tricare covered CNM that provides home birth services in hermitage, TN

We just found out we’re pregnant with our first baby! We think my wife is about 4 weeks along, due around late June 2027. We’re in the Nashville area and looking for a certified nurse-midwife to handle her prenatal care and delivery. We really don't know anything at this stage. We just found out about 20 minutes ago. We’re excited but new to all of this, so we’d love someone who takes time to explain things and makes us feel supported.

Home birth in Nashville tn, moving from ca in 2nd trimester

Hi, this is my first baby. I want to know what my options are and if a water birth or a hospital birth is best suited for me. I am not sure of budget the care is for me and I am 5 weeks pregnant. I am not sure of the due date yet it is only an estimate since I haven’t gone to my 8 weeks appointment yet. I would love a doula that gives herbal/ natural remedies options but not a requirement!

This is my first baby and I don't like the idea of going into a hospital and ending up having to get an epidural or other stuff forced on me. I would rather have a home birth. I went to my first OB appointment yesterday and they said that if I wanted to have a home birth I would have to have a home birth midwife so that's what I'm looking for. I really just want my birth to be faith-based focused on Jesus and just let my body do what it knows how to do

I plan to have my baby at home or in a birthing center. Only in a hospital without being hooked up to ivs and other things. I do not have a birth plan yet but i know i do not want a lot of things. im not sure on a budget but no more than 10,000-15,000 at most.

hello! i am a first time mom who is currently 13 weeks! i’m due feb 15th and am hoping for an at home water birth. i don’t necessarily have a budget, the midwifery center here is $6500 so honestly just seeing if i can find cheaper or insurance reimbursement options. looking forward to finding a midwife!
