My husband and I are Christians who love Jesus. We are so thankful to Him for this little one He's blessed us with! This will be our/my first baby. I'm 37. My husband will be 39 in October. I'm 6 weeks along! Yay! I do not smoke, drink, or take any substances. The only drink I have is a sip of wine for communion 4x a month. I put my due date as May 18, but I'm not sure if I calculated that right. My last period was August 11, and I know baby was conceived August 22 because we've had a recent break from sex due to our work schedules not really promoting the time. I was previously a CNA, then worked in appliance repair. I now work in pet care so I can make my own hours around my health. At the start of October, I will be cutting down to one or two 30min jobs, two to four times a week. If necessary, I can stop completely any time during the pregnancy, and plan to stop entirely after baby is born. My husband works two jobs. He's an appliance repair technician from Tuesday through Thursday starting at 7am, and also works in landscape and maintenence from 8am to 5:30pm on Mondays and Fridays, with some evenings scattered throughout the week as necessary. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's autoimmune disease and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I don't know what type I have, but I am hypermobile. I don't know if that presents any risks during birth. I do not suffer from frequent dislocations as some others do. I mainly have joint pain, muscle tightness, and fatigue. I don't tale any pharmaceutical medication for my condition. I do take 0.55mg of inositol to help lower my antibodies, liquid trace minerals. And I'm switching from methylfolate, selenium, choline, and chromium, to a prenatal stack from Heart and Soil (freeze-dried organ meats in capsules). My husband and I deeply desire to birth baby at home. We currently live in a 384sq ft studio apartment. Our lease ends at the end of December. We'll likely be moving then. I don't know what style of place we'll be moving to, but we are definitely looking for somewhere with more space! I don't know how to explain our birth plan. I don't really know what that is or how to go about putting one together. All I know, is that we want as little interventions as possible, with as little distractions as possible. We'd like a water birth, and I would love for myself or my husband to be the one to, as they say, catch baby =) We'd like to allow the placenta to be delivered naturally, and the umbilical cord to detatch naturally. I'd love to learn nutrition, and be taught how to collect colostrum prior to the birth as well! Our budget is a little tight, but if a payment plan can be arranged, it's worth it! We are excited to bring our child into this world healthily, in calm and comfort!
Hello! I'm 16 weeks along with my first baby and I'm looking for someone to follow my pregnancy and my delivery :) My husband is in the military and we are covered by tricare prime! I hope to give birth at a birthing center, I'm new to the island so I'm still trying to get situated
I've been having some concerns . I've been spotting a bit of blood at 18 weeks .
I am looking for a doula who can assist with VBAC services at the hospital that can accommodate this service. Budget- $250-1000 Tricare
I am looking for a midwife who takes a holistic and faith-centered approach to pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. I desire a home birth and am seeking someone who values natural, low-intervention birth, supports informed decision-making, and respects the spiritual significance of bringing life into the world. It is important to me that my care provider is aligned with my Christian faith, open to prayer, and sees birth as both a physical and sacred experience. I am hoping to find someone who prioritizes nutrition, emotional wellness, and whole-person care for both mother and baby.
