The doula must be certified through DONA International, ICEA or National Black Doula's Association as a doula. Must speak English. Must have at least 5-6 years experience. I need a Doula to help with the baby after birth, during the day for 3-4 days the beginning, help with washing the baby and changing diapers and then just at night to wash and feed the baby, rock the baby back to sleep or change diapers, etc as needed. My budget is max $2,500, I’d like to have someone for at least 2 weeks if not 3 weeks after birth, depending on their rate. Will be helpful if they also can help take out the garbage to the curb, since I hear babies go through diapers very quickly.
