This is my 3rd pregnancy and baby, I would like to have a home birth. I currently reside in North alabama by huntsville. I prefer a provider who is covered by my insurance, Tricare covers home birth with a CNM or another medical provider under supervision, like an RN.

Hello, I am planning to conceive within the next 6 months and am seeking a qualified midwife for a planned home birth. I am open to a water birth and would like the flexibility to labor in different positions at home in a calm, supportive environment. My birth history includes a cesarean section in 2014 due to late decelerations, followed by a successful VBAC in 2018 without complications. I am hoping to have another VBAC at home if I am an appropriate candidate. I am located approximately 5 minutes from Athens-Limestone Hospital and would like to ensure there is a clear and efficient hospital transfer plan in place if needed. I am looking for a licensed and experienced midwife who: • Has experience attending VBAC home births (HBAC) • Is trained in emergency management and neonatal resuscitation • Provides comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care • Maintains a clear transfer protocol with nearby hospitals I am open to discussing budget and would appreciate details on total cost, payment plans, and included services. I value a provider who supports informed decision-making, low-intervention birth, and maternal autonomy while prioritizing safety for both mother and baby.
