Third baby, second at home birth. My husband was my support during both pregnancies and he was amazing for both! He, however, feels out of place and that I should have a doula this time around. So here I am checking it out. I have no idea how much this costs either. We are a one income family and are paying out of pocket already for a midwife. I’m not sure what all to share here but we are a non denomination Christian family. I did not have the best go with breastfeeding but it did go a bit better the second time around. Someone who is confident in breastfeeding would be helpful for those first couple latches ( I really hope to master it this time).

We’re looking for a newborn doula/newborn care specialist to help our family after our baby arrives. We’re hoping for 3–5 days/week for about 3 months, with some flexibility on the exact schedule. Looking to budget around $40/hour, depending on experience. Mainly looking for help with newborn care—feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, naps, and a little baby-related tidying. We’d love someone who is experienced, warm, reliable, and comfortable supporting new parents. Newborn CPR/First Aid and references are a plus!

I plan to give birth in the hospital in Pocatello. I would like to spend less than $200 if possible. I want to deliver this baby (my 2nd) vaginally and unmedicated. I mainly want a doula to help me with positioning during labor to help prevent me from injuring my tailbone again.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and want to have this baby very naturally. I need a doula to get started and some recommendations and advice about cost effective home birth vs hospital birth in our area.

I am doing a non medicated homebirth and lean toward the natural side of things with aromatherapy, possibly a TENS unit, considering a water labor/birth. Postpartum visits as well would be lovely from a doula. My estimated budget is 1200.

Yayyy I’m pregnant! It’s still a secret, so no one knows! I’m 22 years old and married to the BEST husband! I’m hoping to spend $1,200 or under on a Doula. That still might be a little pricey for me because I’m young and not fully established. I plan to give birth in a hospital. I want a natural/unmedicated birth. I do NOT want to be induced if I can help it. I still don’t know how I feel about vaccines. I need to do more research. If I had to pick a side, I’d say I’m leaning towards not giving my baby many vaccines. I would love my provider to be confident in their knowledge as a doula, encouraging, and a good educator. I want them to be able to teach me techniques to remain calm and grounded during labor.

Our baby girl is due in September! We are planning to have her at kootenai health. Our 1st birthing experience with our son was not spectacular. Labor was long, and heavily medicated. After complications with my epidural, I needed i blood patch 3 days later, makint postpartum even harder. We are trying to see what options are out there to make this experience better! We dont have a set budget at this time, just looking for a good fit!

Looking for a midwife! My last birth was supposed to be a home birth but due to high blood pressure, i delivered unmedicated after my water was broke in a hospital. I had an AMAZING doula and a great OBGYN in Idaho Falls. I have moved now and I am looking for a new team for baby #2. I’m open to trying a home birth again but I’m open to a hospital birth due to circumstance.
