I’m a mom of four—two daughters I had when I was young, and two sons I’ve had in my 30s with my husband, whom I married last year. My journey as a teen mom taught me resilience, the importance of support, and the power of community—lessons I carry with me every day. Family and community are central to my life: I’m connected through our church, and I spend a lot of time with my three sisters, raising our children together, exploring hikes, and finding outdoor adventures. I’ve homeschooled my older daughters from kindergarten through 4th grade, participating in a co-op school and fostering a love of learning along the way. Outside of family, I enjoy volunteering with YoungLives to support teen parents, playing board games, video games and reading. I’ve had a variety of jobs over the years, but the one I’ve enjoyed the most is raising my children—it’s taught me patience, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the small moments that matter most

Full Birth Doula Package Includes: • Free consultation to meet, discuss your birth hopes, and see if we’re a good fit for your support team • Two prenatal visits: – One visit to review your birth preferences, comfort measures, and partner support options – One visit dedicated to creating your full personalized birth plan, so you feel confident and prepared to communicate your wishes with your care team • On-call support starting at 38 weeks to ensure I am available and ready when labor begins • Continuous labor and birth support, offering emotional encouragement, physical comfort techniques, and evidence-based information to help you feel confident in your choices • Partner support guidance to help them feel empowered and confident in their role during labor • Immediate support after birth to assist with bonding, feeding, and settling in during the first moments with your baby • 20 hours of postpartum care to check in on your recovery, reflect on your birth experience, and support your transition into life with your new baby • Ongoing connection: While our formal work is complete after the postpartum visits, I value staying in touch and continuing to offer support, guidance, and encouragement as a friend and resource whenever it’s helpful to you • Phone and text support throughout pregnancy for questions, reassurance, and resources

I provide compassionate birth and postpartum doula support to help families feel informed, supported, and confident throughout pregnancy, labor, and the early weeks after birth. As a mother of four, I understand that every pregnancy and birth experience is unique, and I bring both personal insight and professional training to the families I work with. My services include prenatal visits where we talk through your hopes and preferences for birth, practice comfort measures, and prepare for the different possibilities labor may bring. I provide on-call availability around your due date and continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and birth. After your baby arrives, I offer postpartum visits to help process your birth experience, check in on your recovery, and support your transition into life with your new baby. I am especially passionate about supporting young and teen parents and mentor through the YoungLives program, which provides encouragement and community to teen parents during pregnancy and the early years of their child’s life. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your birth experience.

There aren’t enough words to express how incredible Jackiie is! I wasn’t sure if I wanted a doula when I was pregnant with my first baby. I interviewed a couple doulas before Jackiie, and my husband and I decided against hiring a doula. It is such a sacred and vulnerable place to bring someone into, and it made me nervous. However, I met Jackiie and she ended up being just what we needed! I don’t know what we would have done without her. During my very long labor, Jackiie was right there by my side and immediately felt like family. She was so knowledgeable, comforting, and encouraging the whole time. Jackiie is very dedicated and has such a calming presence. She is such a huge supporter and was so supportive of my unmedicated birth plan. I know she would be supportive of whatever a mama wants even if it’s not an unmedicated birth! Her presence was everything I needed when my labor and delivery didn’t go as I’d hoped or planned. She was a gentle and empowering guide and support to my husband as well. Not only did I need her support, but so did my husband. I am absolutely hiring Jackiie for all my future births and can’t recommend her enough!

What experience do you have?

I am a trained birth and postpartum doula and a mother of four. My own birth experiences—ranging from being a teen parent to navigating different types of deliveries—have given me personal insight into the unique challenges and joys of birth. I recently completed my doula training and am passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I also mentor teen parents through the YoungLives program, which informs my approach to guidance and support.

How much do your services cost?

I offer several packages to fit different needs and budgets: Full Birth, Mini Birth, Birth Prep & Partner Support, Postpartum, and Virtual Doula Packages. Prices range from $500- $2000 depending on the package. I provide a free consultation so we can discuss your needs, explain the packages, and help you choose what’s best for you.

How do I know which package is right for me?

That’s exactly what we’ll explore in our free consultation! We’ll talk about your birth or postpartum goals, your support needs, and your comfort level with in-person or virtual services. Many families choose a full birth package if they want continuous labor support, or a mini or prep package if they want focused guidance and preparation.

Are you available for my due date?

I limit the number of births I take per month to ensure I can provide dedicated, personalized support. During our consultation, we’ll confirm my availability around your due date and discuss how on-call support works.

Do you stay in touch after the birth?

Yes! While our formal doula services conclude with postpartum visits, I value staying connected and offering ongoing support as a resource or friend. You can reach out with questions, for guidance, or just to check in—I believe the relationships I build with families don’t have to end after the formal package.

What if I need help with breastfeeding or feeding?

I provide emotional and practical support with feeding and can help problem-solve common issues. I plan to pursue lactation training in the future, but in the meantime, I can connect you with trusted lactation consultants and community resources.

Do you work with teen or first-time parents?

Absolutely! Supporting young and first-time parents is a passion of mine. Through my work with YoungLives, I’ve supported teen parents in navigating pregnancy and the early years of parenthood, and I bring that understanding and encouragement to all families I work with.

Can you work with my partner or support person?

Yes! I involve your partner or support person in prenatal planning, teach them comfort techniques, and give guidance on how to support you effectively during labor and postpartum. I want everyone on your birth team to feel confident and empowered.

What areas do you serve?

I provide in-person doula services for families in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA, and I also offer virtual doula support for families outside this area or for those who prefer remote guidance.
