Ratings and reviews
I would not recommend this doula. We hired her specifically for labor support, gave several hours' notice that I was in labor, kept her updated throughout, and she still arrived after our baby was born. The primary reason we hired a doula was to have support during labor as first time parents , and we were left to deliver our baby on our own. We were extremely disappointed with the care we received and with how the situation was handled afterward.

Jaimie's response
Teresa, I am genuinely sorry that your birth experience did not unfold as you had hoped. Out of respect for your privacy, I won't discuss every detail publicly. However, I do feel it is important to clarify that this review does not present the full context of the situation. Throughout the morning, I remained in communication with you regarding your labor. I was not asked to come to your birth until shortly before your baby's arrival. After receiving that request, I left immediately and arrived within minutes, but your labor progressed extraordinarily quickly. In fact, the birth occurred before both I and the backup midwife were able to arrive. I understand your disappointment that labor support was not possible due to the rapid progression of your birth. While I respect your feelings, I do not believe it is accurate to suggest that I ignored your labor or failed to respond when requested. I care deeply about every family I serve and strive to provide compassionate, timely, and professional support. I encourage prospective clients to consider all reviews and experiences when making their decision.
Jaimie is an amazing partner to have on your childbirth journey! It had been several years since our last child was born, so we reached out to her to help us get up to speed and educate us on what to expect. We were amazed by how much we didn’t know the first time around, and her guidance was incredibly helpful. From answering our many questions to helping us prepare ahead of time, Jaimie made sure we felt informed, confident, and ready every step of the way. She helped us think through important details in advance, which made the entire experience so much smoother. When it came time for the birth, Jaimie was an incredible source of support and encouragement throughout the entire process. I am so grateful she was part of our journey and birth experience. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and supportive doula, I can’t recommend Jaimie enough. She is truly incredible!

Jaimie was incredible and such a huge reason why I felt that I had such a great birth experience. She was supportive, reassuring and calm. She helped me understand my options throughout the day, encouraged me to eat, offered advice, and helped support my husband as well. If you’re in the fence about getting a doula, I highly recommend going for it but specifically highly recommend Jaimie!

Such an informative class. Goes into detail with no shame and I feel more relaxed and at ease going into labor now. Jaimie really knows her stuff.

Jaimie was amazing! My husband and I planned to have our first baby at home - though things didn’t go to plan, Jaimie was encouraging, stable, and supportive. She was a voice we looked to as we labored for 54 hours. I was amazing how resilient she was, never complaining or showing she was tired even though my labor was so long. As a people-pleaser, who tends to worry about others feelings, she helped me relax and remain focused throughout the whole process. I also appreciated how she went above and beyond for us. Taking pictures and videos for us to cherish, cultivating space for my husband and I to connect, making sure I was fed and heard. From the smallest details it felt like Jaimie was there, we really appreciated her. I think one of the best things about Jaimie is that she was and has been a resource for our family. With this being our first baby, we’ve had a lot of questions, and Jaimie has also given us good advice and resources. We love her and will use her again for our next child!

There are no words to describe how grateful we are for Jamie’s support during our birth journey. She was AMAZING! She took the time to provide education, listen, and be supportive throughout the entire experience. I cannot recommend Jamie enough.

As a first-time mom, I met Jaimie around 30 weeks into my pregnancy, and I’m so grateful I did. She supported me through a big transition — changing OBs and hospitals late in my pregnancy — and her knowledge and calm presence made such a difference. Jaimie took the time to educate me on all possible birth outcomes and helped me feel prepared for whatever might come. When I was unexpectedly admitted at 33 weeks and spent 8 days in the hospital before being medically induced at 34 weeks, she was there every step of the way. Even though my labor didn’t go as I had imagined, Jaimie went above and beyond to make me as comfortable and supported as possible. Her compassion, expertise, and steady presence meant the world to me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable doula!

★★★★★ I can’t recommend Jaimie highly enough—she is an absolute gem and a true gift to any birthing family! After welcoming our third child, I knew I wanted to honor the experience with placenta encapsulation, and Jaimie made the entire process seamless, compassionate, and deeply empowering. From the moment we connected, her warmth and genuine kindness put me at ease. She arrived promptly after the birth, handled everything with the utmost professionalism and respect, and took time to check in on how I was feeling postpartum- multiple times! The capsules arrived beautifully packaged with clear instructions & I believe they helped balance my hormones & boost my energy! Jaime was available to answer any questions I had about my capsules & even offered breastfeeding support by answering a few questions I had. Jaimie isn’t just skilled—she’s the kind of person who makes you feel seen, supported, and celebrated during one of life’s most vulnerable moments. If you’re on the fence about hiring a doula or encapsulating your placenta, trust me: choose her. You’ll wish you’d found her sooner. 💖

Jaimie wore so many hats during my home birth - I don't know how she did it, but she was able to adapt and adjust to my family's needs so seamlessly. She was able to recognize when I needed her and when my 3 year old did. She played sibling doula without me even asking and it gave me such comfort to know my 3 year old was being cared for while I labored. And to top it off, while shifting back and forth between helping me and playing with my daughter, Jaimie managed to take a ton of sweet birth photos for me. Hire her if you want an intuitive and attentive doula!

I attended Jaimie's one-day childbirth education course and absolutely loved it! Jaimie was warm, knowledgeable, and made the information easy to understand and practical. In just that one session, I learned so much about labor, pain management, and what to expect during birth — it really helped me feel calm and confident. The class was engaging and supportive, and I left feeling empowered and ready. Highly recommend this course to any expectant parent looking for clear, concise, and helpful guidance!

Jamie's experience in helping others in birth really shined as she lead the childbirth education class. She was really kind, and relatable, and has such a wealth of knowledge! Definitely recommend her as a doula and a childbirth educator!

I still remember that Saturday morning when I went into a panic as my uterus contractions started — and our doula Jaimie responded immediately. She was calm, reassuring, and exactly what we needed in that moment. She arrived at the hospital right after we did and supported me in the most gentle, caring way throughout the entire birthing process. Jaimie held my hands, encouraged me, and thoughtfully prepared everything we might need. One of the most touching things she did was prepare a playlist of zen music just for me — I loved it so much!! It created such a peaceful environment and truly supported me through the whole experience. Her presence was comforting and steady — I can’t imagine my birthing experience without her. Not only is she incredibly kind and supportive, but she’s also deeply knowledgeable about both delivery and mental health, which made such a difference for me. She was an essential part of my journey, and I’m forever grateful for her support.

Jamie is a fantastic doula. She is actually my birth doula’s back up. We had to call her in when my water broke at 2am and my main birth doula was already at another birth. With this unplanned change I still felt I was in good hands. My husband and I virtually met Jaime via zoom call for introductions. Jamie brought a sense of calm and light to the hospital room. She is super easy to talk to and I can tell she really cares about each mama and her partner. Jamie was very knowledgeable and helped explain what to expect for my c-section (breech baby). In the operating room she was right by my side with my husband. Something that I truly treasure postpartum is the wonderful photos and video Jamie took throughout the morning. I cry every time I watch the birth of my son. Thank you Jamie for all your support.

Jaimie was the most incredible doula I could have ever hoped for. From the beginning of my pregnancy, she provided unwavering support and invaluable advice. Her deep connections within the community allowed her to recommend the best resources tailored to my needs. During my birth, Jaimie went above and beyond. Not only did she care for me with such attentiveness, but she also took care of my older son as if he were her own. I’ll never forget how she put my firstborn to bed, then immediately returned to ensure I was well-fed and supported. She was an exceptional listener and made sure I had everything I needed. Jaimie also worked seamlessly with the rest of my birth team, always showing the utmost respect to my midwives. I can’t imagine going through this experience without her, and anyone would be truly fortunate to have her as their doula.
- Holly Nies
Jaimie is not only supportive and a great listener, but she is also an amazing advocate with a gift of discernment and gives advice without judgement. If Jaimie was not a part of my birth team I would feel lost. If you are looking for someone to advocate for you while giving birth she is the right doula for you, she will advocate for your birth plan to be executed how it should be every second of the way. I would 100% hire Jaimie again to be my doula if we have more children. Can’t recommend her enough!
- Bess Moro
I had a very difficult time in the hospital with a sudden pre-e diagnosis and Jaimie did her best to support me and my husband while she was away on a family trip and made it back just in time to assist me through a tumultuous and sudden c section, traumatic hospital stay and some postpartum healing assistance. She was instrumental in keeping my husband and I calm and advocating for what we wanted and needed. If you're looking for an amazing doula with great connections look no further!
- Runi Gray
I've had the pleasure of working with Jaimie and she is amazing! She's so kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable.

Jamie was / is a huge help. She alone saved the day. I can’t express how pleased my family was with her services. She helped my wife every single step of the way. She even gave me a ton of tips on what to do and explained them so that I could understand them. (I’m obviously not a woman). She stayed with us the entire time. She came over at 2 am and stayed with us until 8pm. Fathers or father to be, please trust your wife and allow her to hire such a provider. She was well worth it.

Hiring Jaimie was hands down the best decision we made during my pregnancy. My only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner! Jaimie is, quite simply, amazing. Her support, education, and preparation for both myself and my husband during the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum were invaluable. She was there guiding us through every step of the process beginning during the pregnancy. As a first-time mom, I had so many questions and concerns. She was always so empathetic, calm, patient, and knowledgeable and put me at ease through all of it. When my OB care was significantly lacking, she gently encouraged me to advocate for myself with them and eventually pursue better quality care. She taught me to work with my body instead of against it and to trust my mama instincts. She helped me slow down and focus on my actual priorities, not temporary distractions. She was a constant source of support, encouragement, and resources. She guided us along the path we were already on, plus opened our eyes to even more. She worked tirelessly and selflessly for hours while pregnant herself. Her focus was always completely on us. Jaimie is the most wonderful person - so kind and thoughtful and encouraging, yet also fun and spunky with a joyful personality. She's very intuitive and knew what my personality type needed and how to best support me. She is a wealth of existing knowledge, but also willing and enthusiastic to research anything new. She gave us the tools to make our own informed choices, then helped support us in those without any personal bias. She thought ahead enough to capture the most amazing photos that I wasn't sure I'd care about, but I am now so very glad to have. I didn’t even notice she was taking pictures! Those are priceless memories and the most priceless gift (in addition to the beautiful birth experience in large part due to her!) I honestly don't think I could have done it without her, but I know for sure I wouldn't have wanted to. I became open to a homebirth because of her support, and without her, I'm certain I would have had to transfer to a hospital. I couldn't have had the birth experience I dreamed of without her.
