About me

Hello, my name is Jamie and I am a Certified Birth Doula in Sacramento, CA! I am also earning my certification as a postpartum doula, lactation consulting and more. I first developed a passion for the Mother's experience when I was in graduate school. I have my Masters in Holistic Psychology with an emphasis in Somatics (soma = body). My thesis project focused on the initial phase of postpartum and the support that Mothers needed and deserved. As a result of that project, I have started The Mother's Temple - a developing programed that is aimed at allowing Mothers the space for an evolving identity of both Individual Self and Mother Self. In addition to a deep passion for the Mother's experience and a foundation in mind-body wellness, I have more than nine years of active childcare experience. I have nannied children 0-10 and have worked as an emotional regulations educator for children 4-11. As your doula, my goal is to make every part of your birth-parenthood journey as grounded and comforting as possible. Whether we meet during your pregnancy or in the midst of your postpartum journey; together we will create a plan that best suits you and your family.
