About me

Hi, I’m Janae’ from Washington, D.C.. As a certified medical assistant with experience in OBGYN, pediatrics, and reproductive health, I’ve had the privilege of hearing and supporting countless women through their journeys. That passion led me to become a postpartum doula, where I discovered a deep love for helping families navigate the transition into parenthood. Becoming a first-time girl mom myself only strengthened my commitment to supporting parents through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. After completing in-person training with Doula Trainings International , I am now working toward certification as a full-spectrum doula. I created Rooted & Ready Motherhood Education to empower families with compassionate support, education, and care every step of the way.
