Growing Tree Doula Services was absolutely incredible. Gennifer, Jennie, and Maddie were amazing! They were so warm, kind, and supportive. They made the first few weeks postpartum so much easier for us. I was able to get real rest knowing the baby (and I!) were in such caring hands. They not only took wonderful care of the baby, but also looked after me, kept everything clean, and brought such a calming presence into our home. Their love and gentleness with the baby made this period feel comforting and joyful instead of overwhelming. Truly, they turned what could have been the scariest part of postpartum into such a positive and beautiful experience. I can’t recommend them enough!

Jennie was incredible! She was with our family for over 4 months when my (premmie) newborn came home from the hospital and took incredible care of our baby the entire time. I also learned so much from Jennie's experience -- hiring her truly the best decision/ investment we made when preparing for our second baby. Jennie was also very flexible in adjusting her schedule and extending her time with us as needed. Highly recommend Jennie and the GTD team!!

Gennifer and her team are truly exceptional. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had their support for both myself and my daughter. The night doula care they provided was invaluable—it gave us the time to focus on breastfeeding, address reflex issues, and find the best bottles for my baby, all while ensuring I was well taken care of too. Thanks to them, I got the rest and recovery I needed, all while knowing my daughter was in the hands of compassionate and knowledgeable experts.

We couldn’t have asked for a better support team after our son was born this past August. Maddie was an incredible resource and did such a great job at watching our son over night. She was always punctual, friendly, and did so many things in the background to make our lives just a little bit easier during this transition. She even helped out with our two toddlers who grew so fond of her by the time her job with us was up. Gennifer with Growing Tree Doula Services was an incredible support to me during my pregnancy and successful VBAC delivery as well providing excellent advice and support during my postpartum period. She took charge of my labor experience at the hospital in the best way, working respectfully with my care team and helping me get into ideal positions for delivery. If you’re considering a VBAC, I particularly recommend her! I greatly appreciated her helping me make multiple birth plans depending on how my birth unfolded. I knew that regardless of the type of birth I had, she would be a huge support. She also proactively provided me with all the information I needed to process reimbursement through my insurance, which was hugely helpful. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

My postpartum doula team with growing tree is the best. I had a game changing experience working with them for the first few months of Stephanie’s life, and engaged the team again to provide around-the-clock coverage for my wedding when Stephanie was 10 months old. Gennifer was amazing. I honestly don’t know how people go through birth without a doula. She was fantastic and I feel like I had the birth experience I wanted because she was able to advocate for my needs when I didn’t know what to ask for.

Gennifer’s role in the birth of our first child was nothing short of extraordinary. We initially did not think we would have a doula but are now so glad that we chose Gennifer. From the start, Gennifer was a calming presence and it was clear that she has so much experience in the birthing process. She was incredibly respectful of what we wanted for our birth plan and really felt like an advocate for giving us the birth that we wanted. And we were so glad that we had that personal attention when our birth did not go as planned. Despite this being my first child, I went into labor incredibly quickly. While we frustratingly waited for the OB/GYN group to call us back, Gennifer quickly came to our apartment after hearing what sounded like late labor pains. When she arrived, she realized that I was too advanced in labor to make it to the hospital so quickly initiated an improvised home birth. At one of the most stressful times in my life, I felt remarkably calm having Gennifer by my side. She worked with my husband to make sure that I had the best birthing experience even when everything was not going to plan. And most importantly, she even managed to think quickly to make sure that our child was healthy after complications in the birth. Gennifer is a person who deeply cares about her clients and has so much wisdom to share. She is a great choice for any mother that wants an advocate for them and their child and I would especially recommend her for any first time mother who is feeling at all anxious about the process. She is a wonder worker.
