Gabi is truly amazing. I would recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and wholehearted support. She’s incredibly skilled, but beyond that, she’s such a kind and calming presence to have in your home. She always knew what I needed before I even asked and made it possible for me to actually rest and recover without feeling stressed. I honestly don’t know what my postpartum experience would have looked like without her. I already told her I can’t wait to have my second baby so we can have her in our lives again!

Gabi was an absolutely amazing support for my husband and I when I had to be induced unexpectedly. We hadn’t had a chance to meet to discuss our birth plan yet, before we had to go into the hospital for an unplanned induction but she jumped right in and helped us when we needed her the most. She stayed with us through the entire process, from the very long induction to the unplanned c-section, explaining to us what was happening in a way that we could understand. as well as ensuring that I was comfortable with every single intervention and providing every possible support needed. She was everything and more for us! She is incredibly kind, easy to talk to and trust, and really cares about the families she works with. We highly recommend her to anyone who is considering additional support.

Gabi is an amazing doula! I'm a doula, and I worked with her in April 2023 when she and I supported the birth of her best friend. Having been to many births, it is obvious when someone just ~gets~ how to support someone, and Gabi has that magical energy. We attended a long birth together, and she was so other-regarding, peaceful, and emotionally available the entire time - truly the rock in the room when plans changed. My pregnancy and birth were both extremely unpredictable. I never knew what the day or night was to bring! Gabi was my anchor through the entire experience. She was like the shade of a tree that you could lay under when things got to be "too much." I can't tell you how many times I felt like giving up or how many times I felt so lost and alone, and then I would turn and see a hand held out by Gabi. Words cannot express my gratitude for the work that she has done, and for the love that radiates from her being. This was my 3rd and final child, a boy. And a pregnancy I was so protective over, with a dream of finally having an all natural birth after having 2 previous cesareans. Though I may not have had the natural birth I desired, Gabi stood by me for 36 hours of tough labor, encouraging me every step of the way, and being the peace and comfort that was so necessary during the time of my deepest vulnerability and fear. There is no person in the entire world I would rather have by my side during such a life transforming journey, such that pregnancy and birth are. Simply said, Gabi is doing God's work and I couldn't be more grateful to her.

I cannot recommend Gabi at Mother Mãe Doula highly enough! She was an absolute lifesaver during the first eight weeks of my baby’s life, providing overnight care, lactation support, baby care guidance, and emotional coaching. Her presence made me feel so confident and supported as a new parent, and she reassured my husband and me that everything we were experiencing was completely normal. Gabi went above and beyond in so many ways—she did small but incredibly thoughtful things, like watering my plants when I completely forgot about them in the postpartum haze. She also meal-prepped for us, which was a huge help during those exhausting early days. On top of that, she was so flexible—when we struggled with our baby’s naps, she adjusted her schedule to come during the day and coach us through it.
