Looking for doula for birth and also postpardum needs
I live in Ledyard, CT, but I plan to give birth at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI. I am still working out the details of my birth plan, but I am hoping to have an unmedicated birth. This is my first baby, so someone knowledgeable about breastfeeding and establishing newborn sleep patterns would be appreciated. I have TriCare Prime.
I am planning to give birth at Backus Hospital. My birth plan includes having an epidural depending on pain levels- Although the less medical intervention, the better. I plan to breastfeed. No particular budget. I have Husky Health CT for insurance. I am seeking a birth doula and postpartum doula.
Looking for postpartum support 3 days a week for a few hours, mainly mornings or afternoons. Need help with basic newborn care, light household support, and giving me time to shower, rest, or recharge. Flexible, nurturing, and experienced with newborn routines preferred.
My insurance doesn't cover doulas and I was wondering how much your full service is from not until labor and delivery . I have a lot of anxiety regarding giving birth and it's my first child and just looking for someone to talk with me prior and be there for my fiancé and I during.

Our firstborn passed away in his sleep as a newborn this past february and the reassurance of an extra pair of eyes while we try to rest is crucial to the postpartum period for us.

My spouse and I very excited to welcome our first child into the world this spring! We are both interested in postpartum doula support (our insurance will cover up to 15 hours). I am especially interested in getting some advice and support around sleeping, feeding, and having fun together.
This is my first pregnancy, so I’m looking for someone who can guide me and my partner through the process, be an expert sounding board, and to advise us. I have not confirmed just yet but will likely give birth at UMass Memorial in Worcester. My insurance Cigna covers Doula services so hoping to leverage this for payment. I ideally want a natural birth but want to connect with the doula for advice.
Newport Hospital Tricare insurance Epidural/ aromatherapy/
I am early on in navigating my first pregnancy. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial in Worcester, but I live in Charlton, MA. I am interested in having a birth doula and ideally the same candidate to help when we transition to home life for a few hours. I’m interested in having an unmediated birth, however I am aware that reality might have a different thought. Movement is a necessity for me. I have a wonderful partner, and would like to complement my support team with someone who can help me transition through labor stages as well as navigate the relationship between doctors/nurses.
Update: looking for an individual who accepts TRICARE, even if it’s not in network. Having baby 3 at Hartford Hospital, due 2/11. Have never had a doula before, but am a little worried my husband might be traveling for the birth! Looking for services to be completely covered by Tricare ideally. Birth plan is hoped to be similar to others - labor as long as I can and then get an epidural. Have not had a C-section and am not planning on it for this baby.
1. Hospital 2. $1,500 3. Would like to have a natural birth but I also might be pushed to be induced because I'm considered high risk.
