I am a trauma informed birth and postpartum doula here on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations (Lower Mainland, BC more precisely the Tri-Cities). I come from mixed Caribbean, Indigenous, and European heritage. Specifically, Jamaican and Matsqui First Nations, we are one of the 11 tribes that make up the Sto:lo Nation here locally in the Sumas Prairie (Abbotsford). I am proud to be dedicated to improving maternal and newborn care/support within my communities and beyond. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children. A wife to my amazing and supportive husband.
