About me

I am a Certified Labor and Postpartum Doula here in the East Valley. I am passionate about birth and empowering families to experience it through knowledge, support, and encouragement. I am also a very strong believer in the fourth trimester and the challenges that families face after bringing baby home. I hope that my training and life experience can aid families during the transition to parenthood. Coming from a background of Early 'Childhood Education, my love for children and families is unmatched. I was a Montessori teacher and administrator for 18 years. Our school enrolled children ages 12 months to six years and served the Ahwatukee community until closing in 2017. I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. I moved to Arizona in 1995 and never looked back. I currently live in San Tan Valley and serve the East Valley. I have three grown children and three grandkids, ages 2, 4, and 5.

I am a Certified Labor and Postpartum who is passionate about helping families navigate the beautiful, transformative, and sometimes overwhelming experience of pregnancy and the transition into parenthood. As a mother of three and grandmother of three I bring both my professional training and personal experience to the families I serve, offering compassionate support rooted in understanding, empathy, and encouragement. I am certified through ProDoula and am dedicated to providing evidence-based, nonjudgmental care tailored to each family’s unique needs and goals. I believe that every parent deserves to feel supported, confident, and empowered during labor and delivery. I also can provide a calming presence during the postpartum period, assisting with newborn care, infant soothing techniques, parent education, household adjustment, and helping families find opportunities for much needed rest. I am committed to helping families feel cared for, supported, and equipped with the knowledge and reassurance they need to thrive. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with your family during this truly beautiful season.
