Hi Families! My name is Karla Aguilar, and I’m a Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, proud mom to a sweet 9 year old and 1x Gestational surrogate. My passion has always been rooted in childcare, beginning my career as an early childhood educator with a certificate in Child Development and Early Childhood Education from Cerritos College. With years of experience in daycare centers, public schools, and private homes, my heart has always been drawn to newborn and postpartum care. Becoming a young mother and navigating postpartum with limited support opened my eyes to the gap in care during this beautiful yet vulnerable stage, inspiring me to provide the support I once needed myself. In 2026, my passion for family building led me to become a gestational surrogate, giving me the incredible opportunity to experience pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery for a second time. Having recently gone through postpartum myself, including pumping, Labor, OBYGN appointments I bring even more firsthand knowledge, understanding, and compassion to the families I support. I truly believe it takes a village to bring little ones into this world, and I’m honored to be part of yours, providing warm, nurturing, and professional care to your family.
