About me

Welcome families! My name is Katherine, and I am a new birth doula serving all of Connecticut, as well as southern Massachusetts. Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I pride myself on providing a welcoming and accepting space for all. I provide emotional and practical support to the birthing couple in hopes of easing the stress of delivery, and increasing the joy of bringing your baby home! I work with families on creating birth plans and helping them advocate for that plan during labor and delivery. I am knowledgable on labor stages, fetal positions, and emergency situations, which will help to put your mind at ease! Whether it's through massage techniques, changes in position, breathing strategies, or something as small as lighting candles, I strive to make the birthing experience as calming as possible. My job as a doula is not to take over the role of the partner, but to guide the family to advocate for themselves in the labor and birthing space. I bring a warm, comforting energy with me, and I am so excited to start connecting with you! All consultations are free and over a video call!
