Overnight Doula/Night Nanny Needed – Mississauga (L5M) We are looking for a caring, experienced, and reliable doula/night nanny to care for our 7-week-old baby girl overnight, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We currently have a wonderful doula who has been with us every night since our baby’s first week. She is amazing and we are very happy with her care, but she asked to take 2–3 nights off each week to rest. We are therefore looking for someone to cover those nights. Responsibilities: - Caring for our baby throughout the night - Feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, and settling - Taking care of anything related to the baby (like loading the bottle washer and folding baby's laundry etc). I will be 28 at the time of birth.. I would like to give birth at home but cannot find a midwife so may have to resort to a hospital and I’d like to have a water birth. I am open to discussing budget. I hope to have my husband and mum with me at the time of birth. I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum. I hope to sleep train and get some help with laundry/basic chores for baby. Open to discuss hourly rates or packages.

I'm doing a home birth. We financially don't have a hard budget. I'd like a home birth that is peaceful (although intense) and to give birth in a water. I'd like my partner to be there with my care team and no one else. I'd like a certified doula, years of experience doesn't matter too much to me rather just someone I'm comfortable around in that intimate space. I speak English only. Would ideally want the doula to help for the first part of labor where we're waiting to get get to full dilation and then post partum for any help with care for my body and potentially a meal or do that can brought or made so my husband and I don't need to worry about that.

Planning to give birth at McMaster Hospital, MFM clinic. Diagnosed with Grave's and Hashimoto's diseases but both in remission during pregnancy. Pregnancy is going well. Looking for emotional support and coaching and science based knowledge. Someone who can filter through all the information and is sensitive to our needs. Doula who has had kids of her own and at leat 6 years experience as a doula.

I am currently planning to give birth through my OB-GYN clinic or hospital. If I deliver between 36 and 39 weeks, it will most likely be at my current clinic or hospital, and if I go into labor earlier than that, I may be transferred to a high-risk pregnancy clinic or hospital. My budget can be discussed. For my birth plan, I would like to have my partner or a doula with me in the delivery room. I do not have any specific requirements regarding certification, years of experience, or second language, but I would prefer an experienced female doula who can support me after the birth once I am home with my baby. As this is my first baby, I am mainly looking for support with newborn care, including baby bathing, swaddling, baby massage for the first few months, help with baby feeding, and postpartum massage/support for me as well. I am also open to ideas and guidance, as this is my first childbirth experience. I do not require help with cleaning, cooking, or laundry.
