Working with Krysta was such a good experience. She’s super down to earth and makes you feel comfortable right away. She has a way of lightening the mood with a sarcastic joke or funny remark, even when things get intense, which honestly made such a difference and brought some levity and fun to my birth. She knows her stuff and I feel has the perfect balance of being naturally minded while also supportive of whatever choices you make along the way. She never makes you feel like you have to do things a certain way, and she’s someone you feel really good having by your side.

I seriously cannot recommend Krysta enough! She was such a huge part of making our birth experience a positive one. She stepped in when our original doula wasn’t able to and I believe Krysta was who we were always meant to birth with! She was so easy to talk to, answered all of our questions, and helped us feel so much more prepared even last minute going into labor. During birth, she knew exactly what I needed, sometimes before I even knew myself. She was so supportive of both me and my husband, and I loved that she never made us feel pressured into making certain decisions. She helped us ask questions, asked my midwife to clarify things when I was too distracted and overwhelmed, and she never left my side even when plans changed. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares so much about the families she works with. We're so grateful we had her there!

If you have any hesitation's in hiring Krysta for your doula, let them go! Trust me! I am a very skeptical, hyper independent person who thought I could do my own research and still have a good birth experience, and didn’t want to spend the money on additional support. I’m an ICU nurse myself and thought I could manage. However my husband convinced me to give it a try as my first birth experience was a bit tough….and I’m sooooo glad we did. I did not use a doula for my first birth and the difference in experience from my first birth to my second is black and white. My husband and I were so impressed with Krysta!! Being a nurse myself I know the medical world enough that I would have been able to tell if someone didn’t know what they were doing or wasn’t trust worthy! So trust me when I say krysta is so smart, she’s experienced, she knows what she is doing, and most importantly she is extremely kind, and non judgmental! I cannot begin to tell you how hard Krysta worked to help me thru my experience. She was extremely helpful in advocating for my goal of a vbac, and the choices I made a long the way once I went into labor. And she knew how to be an advocate without making it awkward or Uncomfortable between us and the medical staff. My labor was extremely long, like extremely, and I don’t think she hardly sat down. She was constantly doing something to help me or my husband. And she always knew what to do, and what she did always helped! I even ended up having some unplanned scary complications that one could argue as a worse birth experience than my first. However Krysta made it the opposite. Even with the complications I experienced I still would say my second birth was better than my first and that was all because of Krysta! I would recommend her to anyone! I don’t hardly ever write reviews but she is someone worth writing one for! She is amazing! Trust me! Book her now! She will make a world of difference for you!
