About me

Hi! I’m Krysta. I'm a Christian Doula and Lifestyle & Birth Photographer serving Salt Lake & Surrounding Counties. No Woo Woo. No Nonsense. I simply believe in physiology and a woman's baseline, biological ability to grow, birth and nourish her baby, contrary to a growing system that has taken what is inherently feminine, diminished it, and replaced power, self trust, and raw beauty with self doubt/ fear, control and protocol. I trust the body first, while respecting informed medical care when it's necessary. Intervention should be intentional, not automatic. My philosophy is mother to mother support, having someone on your team who understands what this season asks of you, respects what you value most, and who will support you to birth in a way that feels aligned and empowered. I am confident in my ability to help you feel prepared, educated and FULLY CAPABLE walking into your birth. No rituals. No crystals. Just grounded presence and support. Your intuition about your body and baby holds power. Your Autonomy matters. Your voice should be the driving force of your experience. "Modern obstetrics often centers around control, not trust. Birth is treated as something to endure instead of something to lean into. The system doubts the body’s natural rhythms, replaces intuition with intervention, and calls it safety."

Two in-person visits (typically 1–2 hours each) to: Explore your options and help you feel informed Discuss your birth preferences and create a plan that aligns with your values Learn comfort measures and coping strategies for labor and postpartum Prepare for the transition into parenthood in a way that feels empowering and personal LABOR SUPPORT: On call from 37 weeks Continuous emotional and physical support during labor, from early contractions at home to your birthing location. Guided support for your partner so they can feel confident and involved Focused on your comfort, intuition, and autonomy throughout the birth POSTPARTUM SUPPORT: One in-home visit during your first week after delivery, to: Help you adjust to life with your newborn Lactation guidance Answer questions, offer guidance, and provide reassurance Support recovery and help you feel seen and understood in this new chapter Call/ text support through the first 6 weeks
