Hello! I'm Kaytalyn Winston, Certified Birth, and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Support Educator, Childbirth Educator, and Newborn Sleep Consultant. My passion for birth began through my own motherhood journey. I am the mother of two beautiful children, my daughter was born at a birth center and my son was born at home. Experiencing the power, beauty, and transformation of physiological birth firsthand deeply shaped my view of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. My experience of being fully held and supported by a doula myself ignited a love and drive for supporting women as they navigate their own journeys into motherhood. In addition to my personal birth experiences, I have also had the unique honor and privilege of serving as a surrogate for a close friend. Walking through pregnancy and birth from both the perspective of a mother and a gestational carrier has given me a profound appreciation for the many different paths families take to welcome a child. I believe that every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, informed, and honored throughout each stage of motherhood. Birth is not simply about bringing a baby into the world, it is a transformational rite of passage for a woman and her family. My role is to provide compassionate guidance, evidence-based education, emotional support, and practical care so that families can make informed decisions and approach birth with confidence. My birth philosophy centers on trusting the innate wisdom of the mother and the physiological design of the body while ensuring families have the knowledge and support needed to navigate birth in the way that feels right for them. I strive to create a space where women feel empowered to use their voice, trust their intuition, release all fears and tension, and make decisions aligned with their values and goals. I support families across a variety of birth settings, including home births, birth centers, and hospitals. I have a special passion for supporting physiological birth, VBACs, water births, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and helping families establish healthy newborn feeding and sleep rhythms. My background in education allows me to teach and guide families in a way that is approachable, individualized, and empowering. It is my desire to walk alongside you, providing the support, encouragement, and education you need to feel confident throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and beyond. Motherhood is sacred work, and it is my honor to support and celebrate you every step of the way.

I desire to support and honor all sacred stages of the journey in motherhood. I do this through empowering education, emotional support and processing, and physically holding space for you to step into your role.
Kaytalyn is absolutely incredible. Her attention to detail, prioritization of your preferences and calming energy were everything I could’ve asked for and more. She is a true expert of her craft!

It took me a while to write this review because I had to condense a novel into a paragraph. The two characteristics that I kept coming back to were Kaytalyn's support and advocacy. Throughout my pregnancy I had voiced the desire for an unmedicated birth, but when circumstances changed and I requested an epidural, Kaytalyn was right there with me encouraging and supporting my decisions while making me feel empowered in those choices. When the doctors and nurses kept pushing for further interventions, Kaytalyn stepped up and spoke out for my wishes and desires while I was in a vulnerable position. Although by birth was not exactly what I had expected/wanted because of her support and advocacy I had an empowering, magical, beautiful birth.

I was so grateful to have Kaytalyn there when my baby was born. The night I met her was the night my baby was born. I unexpectedly needed a c-section two days before I was 34 weeks. I went to the hospital straight from a doctor's appointment, which I was supposed to have gone home and had my first appointment with her, when I realized I wasn't going to make the appointment, she just so happened to call to let me know she was going to be late due to horrible traffic, when I explained the situation instead of canceling the appointment she came straight to the hospital and spent the next eight or so hours with me, helping and go through a c-section and recovery and just be there with me so my husband could be with our baby in the NICU. I was so grateful to have her there, otherwise I would have been alone after going through a very traumatic situation, very suddenly. Over the next month while our baby was in the nicu she checked on us almost daily and sometimes more. Then, after our sweet baby came home, she came and helped me with various things so I didn't so feel so overwhelmed by everything that was happening and had happened. I had no idea when we obtained her services that we would be cared for so well. I would recommend hiring her to anyone who was looking for a Dula. She was wonderful!

Having Kaytalyn by my side for the birth of my third child was everything I didn’t know I needed. She was there for prenatal preparation, the birth itself, and then continued on as my postpartum doula. With each stage, the support only got better. I delivered in a hospital, and if you know anything about hospital births, you know food is hard to come by. Kaytalyn showed up with a meal the moment she met us there, a small gesture that meant the world after an exhausting end to my pregnancy. I was 40 weeks and 5 days when I finally went into labor, and she pivoted with me through every twist of the process without missing a beat. The postpartum support was truly invaluable. She prepped meals, took the baby so I could nap, and spoke truth into me when my mind was racing with intrusive thoughts. There are very few words that capture what that kind of care is worth. It’s like having a fairy who tidies, cooks, and pours love into you when you need it most. I am forever grateful for Kaytalyn and our time together. There is so much more I could say, but to the mama reading this: hiring Kaytalyn will be the best and easiest decision you ever make

Kaytalyn is amazing! She is patient, kind, and super knowledgeable. She helped us as we transitioned into new parents - from teaching us how to change diapers before the baby was born to teaching us strategies so to get our daughter to sleep through the night. She is a superwoman and I would work with her in a heartbeat again!!!

Kaytalyn was referred to us by friends and hiring her as our doula was the absolute best decision we made in preparing for the birth of our baby. She helped us understand our options and create a vision for what we wanted for the experience. Throughout labor and delivery she supported us as an advocate and coach for both me and my partner. During postpartum she checked in with us and answered sooo many questions that popped up in the first few weeks of parenthood. Do yourself a favor and hire Kaytalyn. We promise you will not regret it.

Kaytalyn was amazing! Our birth was so fulfilling, joyful, and peaceful because of Kaytalyn. She was experienced, and so very caring to both me and my husband. It would not have been the same without her. Her support before, during and after birth will never he forgotten. I will forever be grateful to have had such an incredible doula on my very first birth! I definitely recommend getting her as a doula if you want just an amazing friend and support throughout your pregnancy and birthing journey ❤️

Kaytalyn is the best of the best. I had my first baby back in November 2025. Kaytalyn was very experienced on all of my prenatal and postnatal questions, and was a BIG support during my 26 hour labor process! I had a 10.5lb baby naturally and I couldn’t have done it without her! We had the best experience with her, would 100% recommend!

Kaytalyn was absolutely critical to our birth experience back in February 2025, and I genuinely don’t think it would have gone the way it did without her. She helped us in the early morning hours (3–5am) over text and was an incredible support not just for me but for my husband too, which meant the world. She helped me achieve the unmedicated birth I had been dreaming of. When I was feeling everything in my back, she let us know that isn’t typical and gave my husband clear, specific positions and expectations to help move the baby and progress labor. Her guidance there was a turning point. She went above and beyond in ways I still think about. She helped clean me up before we left for the hospital, moved our car because we were in such a rush and then advocated for me once we were there. After birth, she stayed to be a companion, took beautiful pictures and videos, and even folded our laundry. I look back on the whole experience so fondly, and that’s because of Kaytalyn. I can’t wait to work with her again whenever we grow our family. If you’re considering her as your doula, do it. She is seriously the best.
