Second baby planning for unmedicated hospital birth at IACH. Looking for someone that accepts Tricare, my spouse may not be able to attend (active duty deploying to Europe) so looking to have another support person that can 100% be there.

second baby. I had preeclampsia with my first, and she had a 9-day NICU stay. I felt very uninformed when it came to my care, which made everything so much worse. I am looking for someone to be an advocate for me during birth & to educate me as we go. I will be giving birth at St Joe. I want to birth naturally, but I’m open to getting the epidural as late as I can, as I’d like to be able to move around while laboring. I don’t know where to begin on budget, but I am low income (on medicaid), so mostly just seeing if this is even an option for me.

I plan to give birth in storming vail, junction city Kansas. My birth plan is no epidural, I’m current doing daily exercises and stretching with my yoga ball. And leg bands. My budget would be well idk, it’s my first time for this. I just want to know more on breast feeding, what my husband can tell me during birth or how he can help me. Just educating on the topic of giving birth in the hospital, how I can set standards but ofc respect the nurses and doctors, I’m young I know but I want someone to listen to me and patience not a quick 15 appointment.

I have had miscarriages in the past and am needing support to ease my anxiety and minimize stress during this pregnancy. I will turn 40 in April, so it is a geriatric pregnancy, but other than that everything seems normal so far. I’m delivering at Lawrence Regional in Lawrence KS, and am looking for medicated birth, but am still wanting lots of support and movement to hopefully make the process as smooth as possible. I am mostly interested in a doula for emotional support and information about resources in my area, an open line of communication through out my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My husband and I have a budget of roughly $2000 but if it is possible to get the services we need with the right person for less that would be ideal. We would like for our doula to be certified.

I plan on giving birth in the hospital! I would like to have minimal interventions. I want to labor as long as I can without an epidural, but am planning on getting one!

Planning on delivering in a birthing center. I’m wanting to find a provider that is covered by my insurance because my insurance should cover all of the cost. I have TRICARE prime and I’m currently in contact with my doctor on getting a referral so I can see my options. Im wanting a natural birth with no interventions. This will be my second birth/pregnancy and with my first I didn’t know a lot and ended up getting an epidural and was given Pitocin and had a second degree tear, all im wanting to avoid this time. With my first I did have a girl and I am having a boy this time and we are currently discussing what we want to do for circumcision.

This is my second birth. I plan to give birth at home with midwives present. I have no idea what our budget would be or what doulas charge. I plan to go fully uneducated and give birth in a birth tub and I plan to deliver the baby myself. As for a postpartum doula, I don't know our budget or what the cost typically is but my last postpartum was emotionally horrific and I would love more ppd/mood support.
