I am extremely grateful to have had such an amazing doula by my side as I prepared for the birth of my first child. Saleemah was very warm and professional. She helped me to prepare for my birth, making sure I had all needed items in my hospital bag, and helping me advocate for myself for my preferred birth plan. She helped me through labor, making sure my birth plan was followed, recommending coping techniques, and even bringing additional items I hadn't thought of. She recommended tips and tricks that helped my labor to progress when it stalled. Saleemah also was a huge help after my baby was born, showing up and helping me with whatever I needed as well as providing comfort measures for postpartum healing.
