My baby latched great when we brought her home from the NICU. I was EBF and pumping to freeze. I was pumping 4-5 oz combined. After a month I started to give her a bottle so dad could feed her while I cooked. Then it turned into 2 bottles (which was dipping into my freezer stash) a day because she wasn’t wanting to latch at specific times but was breast feeding the rest of the day/ night. I went out of town one night so I had to leave my freezer stash with a baby sitter and didn’t have enough for the day/ night. So we substituted with formula. She was still breastfeeding mostly until my oldest started school and I had to give bottles in the car (twice a day) and also when in public because I’m not completely comfortable in public due to the size and shape of my breast. Now we are four months in and babe is not wanting to latch at all and I’m down to being lucky if I pump 1 oz at a time. I’m not ready for our breast feeding journey to end and would like help/ advice on how to get babe to latch and bring my supply back up. When I attempt to latch her she screams and fights it until given a bottle. Im not sure if my milk is too slow, too fast, if it’s inconvenient for her or if it’s the positions I’m trying. I’m looking for someone who accepts blue cross blue shield. I’m okay with virtual but would prefer in person.

Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s and Children’s I’m hoping insurance covers the cost entirely, but I’m willing to pay some out of pocket if necessary. I don’t really have a birth plan. I did have my first 2 children with no epidural , but with my second I had to be induced and get Pitocin. I really don’t want to have to go through that pain again, especially if I don’t have to. This will be my husband’s first child and I want the experience to be good for him. I have Tricare Prime (Humana Military)

Help with latching and pain On electric pump now with cracked nipples but need to figure out latching

I’d like to come up with a plan to manage bf and exclusive pumping (just in case). I also anticipate that I’ll need latch assistance (short nips🥲) and other stuff in that wheelhouse when baby is here. My first goal is to bf/pump at work for 6m, but I’d love to make it to 12. Would love someone covered by BCBS.

I plan to give birth at Tulane Lakeside hospital. My budget for doula services could be at least $1500 including insurance in network for birth experience. I would like my birthing experience to be vibrational (Hertz music) and calm atmosphere in preparation for birth. My OBGYN is older and well expert for labor and delivery. I will need emotional support and gentle care while in labor and would like to be giving the option to NOT lay on my back for labor (squat position or kneel position). Breast feeding is optional but preferred for baby to latch on.

Help with learning and getting comfortable with breast feeding. Also thinking about trying a natural birth. Help with healthy options and exercises or stretches I can do to stay active.

I plan to give birth at the hospital. My budget is $10,000, I would love a doula that works with insurances. My birth plan so far is, I want to go unmedicated if possible, I want a doula who can speak up for me when needed and know what to do, I have a hard time speaking up for myself, especially around medical people. I want an atmosphere that’s calm, no bright overhead lights.
