Im looking for someone that can help me some days with my newborn since I’m very tired due to having a toddler and a c-section. I would prefer someone with experience with newborns has a clean background, cpr certified and knows English and Spanish. I would like someone that can assist me with sleep training since my two year old keeps waking up at night and would like to see if I can set up a sleep schedule for our newborn.

I plan to give birth at WinnMed, Decorah IA. I am on Medicaid and hope to find affordable quality help through a doula. I want to try to do a natural, no epidural birth and use alternate pain relief unless I need to do otherwise. My partner would like to be included and involved as much as possible as possible during birth.

This support would likely be needed for just a couple of weeks. Our budget is flexible since we are still learning what the typical rates are.

My husband and I are specifically looking for an overnight caregiver with newborn specialty care training for our newborn daughter when we both head back to work. She was born 4 weeks early (01/15/2026), so will likely not be sleeping in long stretches by the time we return to work, which will be a little challenging for us.
