Our newborn has bad acid reflux but is managed throughout the day. In the evenings it seems to get significantly worse & she becomes inconsolable. We’re getting so upset that we can’t help our baby so we’re hoping to have someone work alongside us to monitor what’s happening & see if we can pinpoint something to help.

We are looking for a doula who is comfortable providing early labor support at home, along with hands-on comfort measures, breathing and grounding techniques, and partner coaching. Advocacy is also important to us. We want support with communicating and upholding our birth preferences with hospital staff, as well as maintaining clear boundaries around who is present during labor, including support with limiting family presence in the birthing room. We value calm, evidence-informed guidance that prioritizes safety while supporting our goals.

I've been exclusively breastfeeding and pumping for my daughter. I've had a bout of mastitis and it's gotten better. I'm now experiencing nipple pain as the areola where my daughter latches is tender. It's so tender that it hurts when rubs against my bra and shirts. I've gotten her latched assessed from another lactation counselor. I'm not sure why I'm having pain still. I'd love the help on getting to the route of the problem.

Im looking for a midwife or anyone who’s experienced the after care for newborns, this will be my second baby and I would love to have this baby at home as well but this go round i was wondering if I could just get the service of someone just for the birth?…im tryna think of a way for the funds i dont really have and i know with the hospital they take my medical card so I can just go the appointments there with their midwives…but ik they don’t offer home birth midwives and that’s what I will need for when I give birth, i just want someone there just in case something goes wrong

First time Mom had a stalled induction that lead to a c-section. She does not have support who can help her take care of lifting the baby and assist with bending over. Her grandmother and aunt can assist with cleaning and cooking but have disabilities that keep them from helping with newborn care. Dad does not live in the house but will be able to spend a few nights during the week. She may need night help but not entirely sure yet. She is attempting to breastfeed but needs assistance and more in-depth education. There are 5 well trained dogs in the house but their care will be done by other support. Looking at needing help for 4-6 weeks. Budget is about $1,500 a week but unsure of what is “common” and appropriate.

Looking to hire overnight newborn care for my sister for six weeks in Cincinnati. Mom is forty one recovering from a C-section. Dad is the primary breadwinner. Mom had a painful Myomectomy two years ago and needing time to heal. We are looking to hire someone to focus on feeding, burping and changing baby.
