I am looking for a birth and postpartum doula that is covered by Kaiser insurance, who is very knowledgeable about the birth process, potential complications and newborn care, who is open to attending hospitals births. I am planning to give birth at Kaiser South Bay Harbor City. I would like to labor at home with my partner and the doula for as long as possible until it’s time to go to the hospital. I am open to an epidural at the hospital but if I’m doing okay or labor is progressing quickly I am open to not getting one. I hope for an uncomplicated vaginal birth. I’d like the doula to know the difference between interventions that might be offered to me at the hospital that are not necessary and what is necessary/ will help my baby to be born healthy. I’d like a certified doula with multiple years experience, age 38+ or older. I am 38 years old, first pregnancy, have a very supportive partner, and hope to breastfeed.

NICU baby so it has been difficult to latch and I can’t figure out what flange size is correct due to getting different direction and larger size is yielding more milk which shouldn’t be the case. I have had a virtual LC but I would like someone to come to my house and I have CIGNA insurance.
I plan on giving birth in a hospital. This is my first pregnancy so I’m not 100% certain on how I want my birth plan to look like. I would like some help with meal prep and cleaning
7-week old. Exclusively breastfeeding. Painful, achey right breast. Wondering how to regulate supply. Worried about how to deal with engorgement, clogged ducts or mastitis. Also would like to check if my baby is latching correctly. She eats normally, gains weight and has plenty of wet diapers. Just need some overall direction. Would love an in house visit. Budget around $200-$300
Spanish speaking provider lactation specialist for 16 year old new mom
First-time mom planning a hospital birth at Pomona Valley Hospital and looking for a birth/postpartum doula with a practical, evidence-based approach. I would like support during pregnancy with education, preparing for labor, helping me understand my options, and creating a birth plan/preferences document. During labor, I’m looking for someone calm and supportive who can help me advocate for myself, ask questions, and help me process decisions without pressure unless medically necessary. Postpartum support is my biggest priority. I would like help with recovery, breastfeeding/pumping support, newborn guidance, emotional reassurance, and preparing to return to work as an elementary teacher. I am hoping to breastfeed/pump and would value someone knowledgeable about lactation and pumping for working moms. I am open to holistic approaches as long as they are grounded in research and evidence-based care. I am not looking for an anti-medical approach and am comfortable with hospital care and interventions when medically necessary. I would prefer someone experienced with first-time moms and familiar with Pomona Valley Hospital or the surrounding area (La Verne/Claremont/Upland/Pomona).
1 month old baby born abroad, would like consultation on formula feeding.
Milk production slow to come in. I’m producing about 35-50 ML. Baby girl is taking about 56-65 a feeding
Hi, my name is Lauren. I’m an intended parent through gestational surrogacy, and my baby is expected to arrive in early May. I would like to explore induced lactation so I can breastfeed and provide breast milk for my baby if possible.
I just delivered my second child, and while I successfully breastfed my first child for 18 months I am having difficulties getting the second to latch. She is nearly constantly fussy when trying to breastfeed and does not stay latched for any significant period of time. I have inverted nipples and used a nipple shield with my first, although I have tried both with and without for my second.
