Hello, my name is Lauryn Alexander and I’m from Sleepy Hollow New York. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I started caring for children when I was 16, and from a young age, I knew that childcare was something I wanted to pursue as a career. Over the past 5+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children in many different settings. I’ve been a camp counselor working with 1st through 4th graders, worked at BounceU, provided babysitting and nanny care, and worked in a daycare as an infant teacher assistant. Each experience has taught me something new and has made me even more passionate about what I do. My daycare experience allowed me to work closely with infants and toddlers, including caring for twins, babies with colic, and children with different developmental needs. I truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. I recently became certified as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), which is an exciting new step in my childcare journey. I’m always looking to learn and grow, and my ultimate dream is to have a daycare of my own one day. Caring for children isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I genuinely love and feel passionate about.

Night Nanny packages and pricing

Newborn care specialist/Night Nanny

Overnight Feeding: Prepares bottles, feeds the baby, or brings a nursing baby to the mother's bedside, then takes the infant back to burp and settle them. Diapering and Soothing: Changes diapers, swaddles, and comforts the baby back to sleep after waking. Light Nursery Chores: Washes and sterilizes bottles and pump parts, stocks the diaper station, and manages baby laundry. Activity Logging: Records exact times for feedings, amounts eaten, diaper changes, and overall sleep patterns to help establish routines.( If needed)

What to expect

Overnight Care • Managing feedings(bottles & moms breast milk preparation) diapering and soothing to allow parents to sleep through the night. Routine Establishment • Maintaining healthy feeding and sleeping schedules Education and Guidance • Teaching parents about infant care, including soothing techniques, bathing, and umbilical cord care Organizing the nursery, sanitizing bottles, and managing baby laundry. Tracking milestones and providing appropriate stimulation.
