Hello, I am a second time mom and my one month old has a lip tie. It does affect her feeding as I believe she is not as effective at removing milk as she could be. She will constantly click while feeding now matter how many times I correct her latch and she has blisters on her lips. I want her to be seen by an IBCLC and get tips on how to help her. I also need help navigating getting it released. Thank you! Neisha
I plan to give birth at Mount Auburn Hospital. I am looking for an IBCLC that bills as a medical provider and accepts Highmark BCBS. I am hoping to have home visits.
Currently breastfeeding and I’m not sure if it’s thrush or nipple vasospasm. My baby’s inner mouth lip has whiteness but it wipes away. I don’t see patches on the side of cheeks or tongue. However, we both are on nystatin and symptoms are still there. I’m worried about my baby’s latch that could be causing all of this.
