I am planning a regular vaginal birth in a hospital setting. I would like a supportive and calm environment, with clear communication throughout labor and delivery. My goal is to have a safe and smooth birth experience, and I am open to medical interventions if they become necessary for the health of me or my baby. I would also appreciate support with pain management options and guidance during labor. Overall, I’m looking for a professional who is experienced, compassionate, and supportive throughout the process.

I am considered a high-risk pregnancy due to complications in my previous pregnancy. During my last pregnancy I experienced severe preeclampsia and stopped breathing, which was a life-threatening situation. Because of this history, I want additional support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. A doula can help monitor my well-being, provide emotional and physical support, help reduce stress, and assist with recognizing warning signs early. This support can also help reduce my risk of postpartum complications and improve my overall health outcomes.

Hospital Insurance covered Unsure of birth plan now

I am giving birth at Northside Atlanta. I would like to know if my insurance covers the cost of my doula services which I have Kaiser. My birth plan is to give natural birth with minimal visitors. I’m 32 with a high risk pregnancy and cerclage.

I’m looking for a postpartum doula who can provide in-home support after I give birth. I’m especially interested in someone who can help with postpartum recovery, including gentle tummy massages, postpartum belly care, and overall healing. I’d also love someone who can teach or assist with infant massage and provide guidance on newborn care. If you offer these services or can recommend someone who does, I’d really appreciate it.
