I’m planning a low-intervention, physiological hospital birth. I would like to labor without an epidural if possible and remain mobile during labor, using movement, different positions, breathing, massage, and other non-medication comfort measures. I would like to avoid unnecessary interventions while remaining open to medical intervention if it becomes necessary for me or the baby. In a doula, I’m especially looking for someone experienced with hospital births who strongly supports informed consent and patient autonomy, can help me communicate and advocate for my preferences without creating an adversarial relationship with the medical team, and is comfortable providing hands-on support throughout labor. I’m Catholic, so I would also appreciate someone who is comfortable with prayer or faith being part of the birth environment, although the doula does not need to share my faith.

I’m looking for a doula to support me throughout my birth journey, including labor, delivery, and preparing for postpartum. I’m new to the whole doula experience, but I recently saw a friend have a doula, and I was amazed by the support she received. Her doula supported her throughout her pregnancy, helped prepare her for labor, coached and encouraged her during delivery, and even noticed things during labor that the nurses weren’t as attentive to. Seeing how much of a difference that support made for my friend really opened my eyes to wanting that same type of guidance and reassurance for myself. I would love to find someone who can help me feel prepared, supported, informed, and confident throughout this entire experience—from pregnancy to labor and into postpartum.

I’m looking for a postpartum doula who can provide in-home support after I give birth. I’m especially interested in someone who can help with postpartum recovery, including gentle tummy massages, postpartum belly care, and overall healing. I’d also love someone who can teach or assist with infant massage and provide guidance on newborn care. If you offer these services or can recommend someone who does, I’d really appreciate it. I need a doula that can help with my pregnancy and child birth. Im considered high risk but I want to avoid a c-section as much as possible. During labor I also want to avoid any rips or tears. Im hoping to find someone who can take awtna insurance. I will be giving birth in a hospital and need someone who can help advocate for my best interests when it comes to the care I need. I wanted to do a water birth at first but wont be able to since im high risk.
