About me

Hi, my name is Lebo. I am a certified postpartum doula and aim to always provide non-judgmental and culturally informed support to growing families. I am passionate about providing support in historically underserved communities including people of color, immigrants and the LGBTQIA+. I have experience supporting families who have gone through fertility treatment, gestational carriers, adopting parents and families whose babies have spent time in the NICU. I enjoy helping parents prioritize and find a balance between resting, bonding and newborn care while fostering a home dynamic that is ideal for babies growth, health and development. I achieve this by providing evidence based resources while taking the mental health and other needs of the entire family into account at each visit. Besides being a proud aunty and spending time with my loved ones, I enjoy being outdoors, karaoke, and exploring different culture through food , travel and music.

We loved having Lebo as a postpartum doula. She is extremely detail oriented with great communication and was so kind and loving to our baby. Her experience is obvious, because she is very proactive and a natural. She was a pro at feeding, burping, changing and soothing baby, and always made sure we had clean bottles and pump parts, and was great with our dog. We learned a lot of great baby tips from her and trusted that she had our family’s best interest at heart. She made the first couple weeks as first time parents a little less daunting.

I truly believe that Lebo saved my first month of postpartum. She was kind, compassionate, helpful, and cared for my baby like she was her own. I felt confident going to sleep at night knowing that Lebo was there. If I decide to have another baby, I will make sure to work with Lebo again.

Lebo was incredibly helpful in all facets of my postpartum experience. As a first time mom, I was physically and emotionally drained and unprepared for parenthood. She allowed my husband and me to get much needed sleep, kept us fed, and answered all of my questions about caring for a newborn. She also provided emotional support and made me feel more confident as a parent. Postpartum is such a difficult transition and I am so grateful I had Lebo’s guidance through it.
