About me

Hi there! I'm Leona Blain- birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, student midwife, and humble student of physiology and birth. I am a disciple of Christ, military wife and mom of 2 beautiful home- born girls. I ultimately strive to companion you as a sister throughout your childbearing year and beyond. I am a Hearthmother Journey student and soon to be alumni. My heart in birth work is to walk with mothers as they tune into the Holy Spirit and take empowered responsibility for their choices. I aim to provide you with the information and support that is needed in order to do that through genuine companionship and by pointing you to Jesus Christ. Some of my greatest passions are informed consent and honoring the sanctity of birth and motherhood. If you made it here I am so grateful and look forward to talking soon!

I offer: • 1 complimentary consultation • 2 prenatal visits • a birth planning session • a postpartum planning visit • a hands on workshop with your husband or birth partner • availability through text message, voice notes, etc throughout pregnancy •access to my resource library and my book lending library • On call support from 37 weeks • continuous labor support from the point you want me to join you until you are settled postpartum • postpartum support in the immediate 2-6 hours postpartum • peer breastfeeding support •A birth story processing session • 1-2 postpartum visits Additionally, I offer comprehensive mother-centered hourly postpartum doula packages.
