Hello- My name is Odette Clarke, I have been in and out of the doula world for over 18 years. I have worked mostly in Toronto, Ontario and moved to Calgary, Alberta four years ago. I have recently decided to rejoin the doula industry and complete my certification with Doula Canada. I have done both birth and postpartum work as an independent doula and with a few agencies in Toronto,Burlington and Hamilton Ontario. I believe that pregnancy and birth are natural and that our bodies are designed to create and to bring forth life. I believe that moms and partners deserve to feel supported and valued. As a Full spectrum doula, I love educating women on their cycles and teaching families how they can use the Fertility Awareness Method to either achieve pregnancy or prevent it. I love people and strive to help them achieve their ideal birth experience that they can feel good about. I have always loved babies. At family gatherings you would usually find me snuggling the newborns and entertaining the other kiddos. It wasn’t until I gave birth in 2015 that something shifted and I was living the postpartum experience myself. I realised that yes, I loved all things birth and I consider myself a certified birth nerd, but there was something missing.
