Stacey was so fabulous from start to finish through pregnancy to birth and into postpartum. I would be lost without her. My husband was unable to make the birth due to travelling home and she acted like my support person and video called him during my birth. Then when it came to postpartum she was incredibly helpful. She has so many resources for every stage and is so knowledgeable. She also advocates for what you want during birth. Definitely highly recommend using Stacey!

Stacey is the best doula! She promptly answered me on a Sunday night after my water broke, took me to the hospital since my husband works out of town and was on his way home. Then when I was sent back home she raced back when I was ready to push (unexpectedly) and promptly got me to the hospital so I didn't give birth in the car or my house! Stacey was such a great support. She went above and beyond in every way. Such a positive light and great attitude! Even took photos and videos for me even though she had to video call my husband and my birth went VERY fast. She has every tool imaginable and is the best advocate for what you want out of your birth. Her all-in support package is amazing; I found having postpartum care was also super helpful; she cooks, takes care of the baby, folds laundry.. you name it! Can't say enough amazing things about her!

I originally hired Stacey for a vaginal birth, but I ended up needing a cesarean. Honestly, I thought a doula might not be as essential for a c-section—but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Stacey was incredible. Right after surgery, when I was still groggy, she stepped in as my voice, making sure my baby received the care I wanted. Throughout my hospital stay, she continued to advocate for me and guide me through every step. She even rescued my breastfeeding journey. If you’re looking for someone who is compassionate, flexible, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable, Stacey is the one. She will be your voice when you need it most. I will absolutely call her again for my next birth.

Stacey was present for our birth. Having her be a part of my birth which was moving fast and furious was great; she provided me with the reminders I didn't know I needed to breathe/relax while pushing.

I found Stacey on Instagram when I was looking for a doula in Calgary with special VBAC training. Stacey met the criteria so I eagerly contacted her when I was early in my pregnancy. She enthusiastically agreed to take me on as a client and I was thrilled. Sadly a few weeks later my pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Stacey was very kind and supportive and 2 months later when I was pregnant again, she shared in my joy and we began the journey together once again. She was easy to get in touch with and her Instagram presence helped me feel like I was able to get to know her a little better. When labor started she was quick to answer text messages and came to our house when we asked her to. She helped me make the call when to go to the hospital since she knew we wanted a hospital birth. It was a long labor with very slow progression. Stacey was very well informed with Spinning Babies techniques and encouraged me to get into positions that were challenging but were designed to help get our baby into position. Unfortunately our labor ended in c-section because I was exhausted from days of intense prodromal labor and didn't progress beyond a certain point. Stacey was there and made sure I left no stone unturned when it came to things we could do to help baby along, but a vaginal birth just wasn't in the cards for us. She was a great advocate for the gentle cesarean we had. As soon as we pivoted to the c-section, she didn't skip a beat and made sure we knew our options for things like skin to skin after delivery, dropping the curtain as soon as baby came out and even having music playing in the OR. It was helpful to have her there to help us navigate labor positions and know all our options. We are grateful to her.

As we prepared for the arrival of our first child, my wife and I were looking for some support and someone we could trust to answer all our questions and be there to support us every step of the way before, during, and after labour. As a Dad, I was overwhelmed with information (especially after Birth and Babies...) and didn't think twice about searching for a Doula. We were so lucky that we found Stacey. She helped ease some of our concerns, and we came up with a solid plan. When the big day arrived, Stacey was right there with us. From a Dads perspective, I wouldn't have been able to support my wife as well without Stacey. I am very thankful!

Stacey is an amazing Doula and I am so happy that I had her as part of my birth team. She was always available when I had questions leading up to my baby's birth and spent the time to give me thorough, informative and thoughtful advice. She made me feel very safe throughout the whole process and I knew going into labor that she would have my back if things got difficult. I ended up having a really straightforward induction and while that wasn't how I was hoping to enter labor, having Stacey by my side helped me stay in a very positive mindset throughout. She worked seamlessly and collaboratively with my midwife and I would hire her again in a heartbeat if I were to get pregnant a second time.

It was a long, emotional day, and Stacey’s presence was a constant source of comfort and calm. She didn’t just offer emotional support—she even cooked for all of us when we were in need of a break. We are so deeply grateful for Stacey’s unwavering dedication and care throughout this journey. Her support made all the difference, and we will forever cherish the role she played in this special moment of our lives. Having Stacey as my doula was a very positive experience. From the very beginning, she was fast and easy to communicate with, always available to answer questions and provide support before, during, and after birth. Our initial meetings were well-coordinated and truly helped me think through my birth plan in a way that made me and my fiancé feel confident and prepared. During labor, Stacey knew exactly how to be both supportive and encouraging. She coached me through helpful positions and provided guidance that made a real difference in my experience. She also made sure my partner felt involved, kindly and clearly delegating tasks so he could be as helpful and supportive as possible. One of the most special touches was how she decorated the birthing room with fairy lights, creating a calm and comforting atmosphere. But beyond that, what stood out the most was how deeply she listened to me in all aspects of my experience. I felt truly heard, respected, and cared for throughout the entire process. Stacey is not only knowledgeable and skilled, but she also feels incredibly real and relatable—like having a friend by your side during one of life’s most transformative moments. I’m so grateful for her support and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and capable doula.

Having Stacey as our doula was wonderful! Stacey was our doula for our first birth and she made the whole experience, which was so new to us, stress-free and easy. Stacey was incredible at making sure I was supported during my birth and after. During and before the birth, Stacey helped us with various labor positions, coping mechanisms for pain and supporting me in having the birth I wanted. She was an amazing advocate for us at the hospital and made sure that my birth wishes and preferences were prioritized. I had an excellent birth experience and definitely have Stacey to thank for that. We also had Stacey as our postpartum doula and she was so helpful to help me keep a balanced perspective, especially as a first-time parent. She was calm and very knowledgeable and helped us with several baby firsts! I would gladly have Stacey as our doula again and would recommend working with her!

The best decision that my husband and I made during my pregnancy was hiring Stacey as our doula. I believe she was a huge part in why I consider my birth to have been as empowering as it was. At our appointments leading up to the birth, Stacey was very knowledgeable and patient as she answered our many, many questions. We never once felt judged for the decisions that we made for our birth plan. Once my water broke, we contacted her right away and she was a great resource for my husband as I laboured at home. When she arrived at our house, we both were reassured by her calming presence. She assisted us with a few positions to progress my labour before we headed to the hospital. At the hospital, she ensured that all my wishes were followed and it helped me feel in control in a very intense delivery. With her support, my husband was able to focus on supporting me emotionally. I credit her and the tools that she provided us with, as the reason I was able to deliver our daughter with no interventions. We highly recommend Stacey and can’t imagine how stressful my labour might have been without her professionalism, care, and guidance.
