Unfortunately, I haven't received the prenatal care I needed for much of my pregnancy due to switching OB-GYNs and dealing with other challenges. As a result, I've often felt dismissed during appointments, and it's been difficult to feel heard or supported by my medical providers. Hello! We are pregnant with our first child and I am really interested in having a Doula. I am a patient at Oula seeing their team of midwives and plan to deliver at Mount Sinai West. I live in Astoria, Queens. I am hopeful to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would like to learn as many breathing, movement, push positions, etc as possible to help achieve this goal.
