About me

I was born into a family where birth was celebrated, honored, normalized and as kids we were invited into birth spaces by our elders. This I believe initiated my love and trust of birth, of birth givers and their babies, too. Eventually I had my own babies and experienced for myself how potent this time is and how it transformed me to my core. How it has influenced who I am, my health and my spirit in all ways, on all levels. My life's work has always been rooted in caring for families. First I worked as a project specialist to create and develop state-wide, quality child care for low income and working families, then later, a homeschool teacher and a nanny. Currently I am a full time Mama, a Pre/Postnatal Yoga Teacher, a Birth Educator and an Ayurvedic Postpartum Care Giver. I am passionate about working with pregnant and postpartum families and about the practice of yoga. I joined my two passions to create BellyFull Birth.

I cannot say enough good things about Lindsey and her postpartum care. She has a wonderful grounding and calming presence. My husband, babies and I all felt immediately comfortable with her. The oil massage, pelvic steam and food she provides are all so nourishing and healing. She is an excellent cook and her food is truly delicious. I could honestly eat it year round. It also makes it easy to get enough to provide for baby, which can be difficult in the early days. Everything is not only tasty but provides those essential nutrients to help with milk supply, building iron levels and caloric intake. We hired her for both of my babies and it's so worth it! If we're lucky enough to have more we would 100% work with her again!

If you are a first time parent or revisiting parenthood as a family, I simply cannot sing higher praises for Lindsey at Bellyfull Birth. Her post partum offerings were transformational for me, for the baby, and for us as a family. She is so nimble and attuned that she will meet you wherever you are, no matter what you're confronting on this life changing journey. We were delighted to learn from her and with her, as her accompaniment meant all the difference; she introduced and supported a true, healing process. I am positive that I would not be as engaged, curious, and steady as a first time Mom had Lindsey not walked into our lives. We came to truly love her and all of the wisdom she offers. If you are debating a pp service that undoubtedly supports the birthing person, THIS IS IT, all the while knowing that Lindsey is unafraid to get her hands dirty and help with the day to day too. My deepest wish is for all families to have access to exquisite care like hers and see the value in an investment in her program.

I am so glad I added Lindsey's offerings to my birth journey! I rented her birth tub which was such a good pain relief method for my unmedicated birth. Pick up / drop off and deposit / payment stuff was a breeze. The abhuyanga massages were such a boon to my physical and emotional well-being. When you have a newborn to care for, even when you know how important self-care is, you can find yourself rushing through things like showering etc. It was so great to have one hour where I couldn't rush things, I just had to relax and enjoy. So grounding and centering at a pivotal time in your life. Also my hair and skin were fabulous from the sesame oil which smells amazing. Lindsey has a warm, nurturing and calming presence which is important when inviting someone in to your home during such a delicate time. She always had such a helpful and never judgmental perspective on questions we had about newborn parenting. Be good to yourself and choose Lindsey, she's awesome.

My husband and I are expecting our first child in February and Lindsey was recommended by our midwife for a private childbirth prep class. Lindsey's class want above and beyond anything we could have imagined. It was informative, hands on and personal. I am a practicing midwife and my husband knows very little about the birth world yet somehow Lindsey was able to design a class that reached us both where we were at. We both learned so much and not only about labor and birth but how to work together and how to connect with each other on a deeper level. I highly recommend Lindsey to anyone looking for an evidenced based birth class that will fit your needs in whatever stage of life and parenting you are in. I will for sure be recommending her to my own patients.

I highly recommend Lindsey! We did a postpartum program and it really helped me during that tough period. She is super knowledgeable, caring and flexible. I honestly don't know how I would have gone through the first weeks after having my baby without her support and tools. I was able to feel strong in my body and lose the baby belly mostly in the first month and fully by the second one. She shared many tools that helped me heal quickly and feel better in the midst of sleep deprivation and stress. She is also super caring and was always there for me answering all sorts of random questions as a new mom. I will forever be grateful to her for the work she did for me and she does for many other mamas out there.

Lindsey has been a crucial part of my pregnancy experience these last few months. I began attending her pre-natal yoga classes around 20 weeks pregnant, and the classes have really lasted the breadth of my pregnancy (39 weeks and still going!). Additionally, her knowledge and perspective on pregnancy and childbirth has been very reassuring during what has been a very strange time to be pregnant (thanks, 2020). I especially recommend the Pre-Natal Yoga for Partners; while everything Lindsey offers is excellent, this was especially helpful for me and my husband and if you're not looking for a longer relationship or to do prenatal yoga throughout your pregnancy it is still super helpful. Lindsey has also weathered the change to online classes gracefully - which I am super grateful for! If you are pregnant and looking for support, I definitely recommend Bellyful Birth, especially in the time of social distancing.

Lindsey was so important to my pregnancy journey. Once I found her, I signed up for every class that I could. I did yoga, I did child birthing, we did partners class. She uses evidence based practices and will always have time to explain an idea or a concept to you. She is passionate about what she does and she cares about the experience you are having holistically. More than anything, her energy is amazing. Some days are better than others in pregnancy and it's so nice to have a solid guide to visit especially in those times of need! Could not recommend more.

Lindsey is an amazing yoga and prenatal prep teacher! She is a wealth of knowledge about the birth process and how to implement a yoga practice to help you prepare physically, mentally and spiritually for birth and motherhood. I've taken both her weekly prenatal yoga classes, which have been very helpful in helping me manage some of the discomforts of pregnancy, and her birth prep series, which gave me a tone of practical knowledge about birth and helped give me a ton of useful tools for taking care of my body before and after birth. Thank you for all of your help, Lindsey!

I highly recommend taking prenatal yoga classes with Lindsey!! They've been helpful and educational, and I love taking the time to self-care for myself and my baby. My spouse and I also enrolled in her partners' childbirth prep class and really enjoyed it. My spouse said he learned more from Lindsey than in our hospital-led course!! Lindsey is experienced, warm, and she is an easy-to-follow instructor. Don't know what I'd do without her!

Lindsey's 4 week prenatal course was wonderful. I loved meeting the other moms-to-be, and Lindsey has warm, informed, practical advice about how to prepare body and mind for birth. I found the 2 hours each week to be restorative and calming, which was so nice during the hectic work week. I learned a lot about the pelvic floor and how to do productive breath work. I also really loved the sense of community among mothers in the workshop. I'll definitely plan to take more yoga classes from Lindsey; she has a wonderful presence and approach!

I'm getting ready to give birth to my first baby. It's such a foreign and new journey to me and I'm so glad I decided to take Lindsey's four week birth prep course. There was so much material to cover but I really enjoyed the way the class was structured. Every class started with each new mom talking about how far along they are in their pregnancy and any concerns and issues that have been arising in their pregnant bodies. We then continued on to a prenatal yoga practice that was focused on hip openers and mind body connections. We would then break for tea and continue onto the lecture part of the class. I found that the yoga practice really relaxed my mind and let go of the million lists of things I had to do and gave me the clarity to be able to focus on the lecture. The lecture itself was informative and covered different aspects of birth - anatomy, breathing, yoga theories, positioning, etc. I highly recommend this class to any expectant mothers. She also has partner classes/workshops which I wish I able to utilize but my schedule is just too crazy.

Incredible yoga practice to prepare for birth! Lindsey creates an amazing space to practice prenatal yoga by bringing a lightness and excitement to the practice. Her knowledge & passion for teaching were evident with each class. It was 4 weeks on a Saturday afternoon and I loved saying no to any Saturday afternoon plans because I hands-down loved being at yoga with her and our small group. You'll learn some physiology of pregnancy related to how yoga can help you prepare for birth. The class is a mix of meditation, yoga and a mini-workshop to learn the theories and why you should invest in continuous yoga practice to prep for birth. I did the class towards the end of my second trimester and feel hopeful for a strong, safe and positive birth experience. I've got a few weeks left to keep breathing and prepping before our baby is due!

Lindsey is incredible. My husband and I saw her the week before our baby was due. She gave us terrific tips, walked us through how to best position ourselves for birth at the hospital, poses and massage techniques. I left our session with more knowledge than I anticipated and in a great mindset for birth. She taught us about affirmations, ways the days can really help and was very prepared. I still think back on our session and am SO glad we did it. This was in addition do every CPMC training and was the perfect final compliment. Her info wasn't redundant and my husband had a great time. Book her!
