I plan to give birth at a birth center. I am looking for a doula who accepts Colorado Medicaid.

Looking for a doula to help instead of an obgyn. Don’t believe in modern medicine. Want things as natural as possible.

1. I plan to give birth at home for the first time (this is my fourth baby). 2. Anywhere from 2k-5k depending on services and professionalism. 3. I do not plan on any sort of pain intervention medicines. I plan to use hot and cold therapy, along with a birth bath. I plan to utilize empowerment, breathing techniques and meditation to help me through the process. I want little intervention or cervix checks unless absolutely needed and to go with the flow. I plan on birthing on my knees instead of on my back.

I will be giving birth in a hospital. I am interested in the idea of an unmedicated and/or water birth but don't feel super strongly about that. I would like support during the labor and delivery process. I am hoping to find a doula that is mainly covered through Tricare insurance.

I currently am 8 weeks pregnant. I had a c-section May 11, 2024 at Rose hospital. My first labor and delivery were very unpredictable and I am left with some grief regarding my first experience. I am currently trying to understand if a VBAC is a viable option for me. At the very least, I would like someone who can support my husband and I with a realistic birth plan and help us advocate for our needs in the process. We currently don’t have a budget as I don’t know what the range of cost is. Would love some more information to help guide us. Thanks!

I plan to give birth at UCHealth Highlands Ranch. I don’t have a budget, but I have Medicaid and am wondering how much services are covered. I plan to be as natural as possible (first birth was unmedicated) but will probably opt for an epidural this time!

We are planning to birth at a birth center (still touring which one). We will have a backup option at a hospital. I'm hoping to stay right at or under 1,000 for the doula. Hoping to interview a handful of doulas and find the right fit. My hope is to meet in person more than once before giving birth, if possible. My husband is excited to be involved. I am a planner, I like details and back up plans, but also know that an open mind is necessary for this process. I'm open to various levels of experience, I just want someone that has been a part of all the different types of birth and ways it can go -- as well someone that believes in and has helped women achieve unmedicated birth.

I am interested in offering my sister-in-law the gift of a "closing of the bones" ceremony. She gave birth on January 21st. I was wondering if this would still be a suitable time for her to receive this? I'd also be grateful if you could provide some information regarding the typical cost of such a ceremony and what my sister-in-law might need in preparation. She resides in Denver south, Centennial. Looking for an affordable doula that can provide support when going in to labor, helping me figure out when to go to the hospital, support while in labor at Rose Hospital, and maybe a few check ins postpartum too. My birth plan is to try to do it naturally with as few interventions as possible but also open to an epidural in case I'm suffering. Birth doula for an un-medicated birth at a traditional hospital/birth center.

Planning to give birth at St. Joe's Hospital in Denver. Didn't have a birth doula with first baby and want a different experience this time. Was hoping for a natural (vaginal, unmedicated) birth last time. Was able to do vaginal but not unmedicated. Also hoping for good energy and relationship with hospital staff, which I did not have last time at a different hospital. Hoping a doula can help support this.
