We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). We are looking for a russian speaking doula who will be able to help during birth and also provide guidance in postpartum journey (newborn care, pp recovery). Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care. The primary focus of this position is to assist me with my physical recovery and overall well-being. Duties may include helping me move safely, assisting me in and out of bed or chairs as needed, preparing light meals and snacks, ensuring I stay hydrated, helping me stay on top of my medications, providing emotional support, and performing light household tasks such as tidying, dishes, and light laundry so I can focus on healing. I am looking for someone who understands C-section recovery and can help make the postpartum period less physically demanding. No direct newborn care is required, as their grandmother will be assisting with that.
