About me
Ventura Birth Photography was born out of a love for photographing real moments, and a keen interest in birth, babies, parenthood, and the transformation of a family when a new little one arrives. We have teamed up to bring you the best possible experience and service because we believe that the moments we capture MATTER! Experienced birth and family photographers Loren Haar and Emily Storz are ready to capture the love, strength, and emotions of the moments that make up your family's Birth Story. We also offer birth and postpartum doula support. We believe in documenting birth in all its forms, supporting birthing women and their families, and providing families with tangible and visual reminders of their unforgettable birth experience. We believe your birth experience is such an important moment in your life. It marks the beginning of your child's journey— and yours. It will shape who you are and how you see the world. We aim to capture all the beauty and emotions, preserving every detail of this core memory for years to come. We have several different birth photography packages, and doula support can be added to any of them. All packages include: In Person Meeting before 35 weeks to discuss your birth plan, get to know each other, and answer your questions. On call 24/7 from 38 weeks until the birth; documentation from ACTIVE labor until birth, plus 1-2 hours post delivery. “Sneak peek” of 5 hand-picked, edited images within 36 hours of birth for your social media or family announcement. Between 150-300 full resolution digital images in a private online gallery for you to view, share, and download from.
