1. home, 2. I am not sure of our budget we are open to seeing various options out there, 3.I am currently pregnant with my first baby and am exploring care options. I do not have a provider that I regularly see, and I am interested in establishing care with a midwife. I would love to plan for a home birth. I experience significant anxiety, and I know that being in my home environment would provide the calm and sense of safety I need for both myself and my baby to support a positive birth experience. I am also interested in the option of laboring and or birthing in water. (want natural birth) We do have a deep bathtub at home, but I am also open to using a birthing pool if recommended. For my first appointment, I am also in need of a Pap smear and breast exam. Ideally, I am hoping to find a midwife who can both assist with a home birth and provide prenatal care through office visits. I am located in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Thank you so much for your time. I plan to give birth in a hospital, I think but I would like to do a home birth or water birth if it's an option. I have tricare prime and would prefer to work with one that is able to be covered by our insurance. Being military in a small town makes support very hard to find.
