I plan to give birth in a hospital, I think but I would like to do a home birth or water birth if it's an option. I have tricare prime and would prefer to work with one that is able to be covered by our insurance. Being military in a small town makes support very hard to find.

I do not have a provider that I regularly see, and I am interested in establishing care with a midwife. I would love to plan for a home birth. I experience significant anxiety, and I know that being in my home environment would provide the calm and sense of safety I need for both myself and my baby to support a positive birth experience. I am also interested in the option of laboring and or birthing in water. (want natural birth) We do have a deep bathtub at home, but I am also open to using a birthing pool if recommended. For my first appointment, I am also in need of a Pap smear and breast exam. This is my first pregnancy, and I am looking into a lot of different options to find what is best for the baby and me. I love the thought of a home birth but I am open to a hospital as well. I do not have a budget right now and was hoping to talk to someone about prices and plans that could be offered. I am only 7 weeks along currently and had my first appointment at a hospital and it just didn't feel like the best fit for me because they want to have 6 different people work with me throughout the pregnancy and I want someone more constant who will know me and the baby and me. I currently do not have a birth plan right but I am looking into it a lot and plan to start one very soon.
